When you starve/deprive your body (running or not) you will slow down your metabolism -there is no way to avoid it.
body needs about 50cal/hour just for basic functioning (like when you are in coma) and thats 1200cal/day. You move, walk, study, exercise and spend way more than that.
to lose fat you have to create just a slight deficit in daily caloric intake otherwise all you will lose (with your "smart" plan) is water weight and muscle and then gain back more than lost when start eating normal again or as soon as your body learns to function on less calories (very slow metabolism) - all it does is contributes to yo-yo cycle.

I was one of thoese misguided souls who believed that if you go fro any length of time in the state of hunger, you would experience some significant problems. Metabolism slows down when we eat the wrong foods and we eat them too often. I believe that the digestive process takes time to complete. Eating every 2 hours does not give the digestive system time to process food and rest. I believe that that is key to many metabolic disorders. Hi protein meals packed with nurient dense fruit and vegetables can be eaten once or twice a day. AND once this becomes a habit, it becomes easy.Limiting the caloric intake should be a thing of the past.
The way I have been able to eat once or twice a day is to eat a rich protein dense, low carb meal following a 20 hour fast. I fast right after dinner, which today was a salmon steak with zuchini. Dessert was sugarfree pudding topped with fresh strawberries. Now, I won't eat again until tomorrow around 2 :00 PM. When I eat my next meal it will be considerably bigger. An example of my 2:00 "break" fast is a couple of chicken thighs with mustard geens and a sliced avocado/tomato/onion salad. I wash all of this wonderful food down with a glass of V8 juice. I would follow that with a bowl of sugarfree choc. pudding topped with blueberris and crushed pecans.I won't eat dinner until around 6 or 7. Usually I am not very hungry at this time but I always have dinner, regardless of how small, to help me make it to 2;00 the next day. The most difficult part of my fasting period is the last 4 hours before meal time. But, like gas, the last four hours shall pass and I get to enjoy some great healthy food.
Now here are the changes that I have noticed. Menstruation is more bearable ( cramping, cycles, and flow are much lighter ). Insulin/glucose levels are normalizing. My body is becoming more sensitive to exercise. Now, when I exercise, I actually lose weight. Since April, I have lost 10 lbs.I also want to add that coconut oil is very important to my diet cuz it kicks up the metabolism. I wish that I began fasting 2 years ago.
I also would like to add that last month while visiting family, we had to go longer than the normal lenth of time without food. My family showed definite signs of stress, but I was fine.

Did you notice a nutritionist beforehand you replaced your nutrition regimen? How tall are you? many times, while you're relatively obese then a nutrition regimen consisted of in basic terms liquid might obtain to you via a nutritionist. in case you used to devour 6 nutrients an afternoon then you relatively do no longer would desire to circulate from 6 to a million meal by using fact this might reason your physique to think of that that is ravenous and reason it to guard the energy and nutrition which you ate up in that one meal. to that end, it is going to avert your capability to lose greater weight quicker and you do no longer choose that. fairly, have in basic terms 3 nutrients an afternoon: breakfast, lunch, dinner). the 2d you awaken, have breakfast, which will desire to be the biggest meal out of the three. Lunch would desire to be the 2d greatest and dinner would desire to be greater of a snack fairly than an entire meal. that is by using way your metabolism starts off the 2d you have that first meal and reduces to an enormously much end once you sleep. while having lunch, have it around a million-3 pm fairly of at 12 precisely. decrease down on any nutrition that includes distinctive preservatives (ie: McDonald's, BK, Chef Boyadee, microwaveable pizza, etc), yet you will desire to try this gradually so the cravings for that is particularly no longer as harsh. exercising is likewise considered necessary considering the fact that no genuine nutrition regimen includes in basic terms a nutrition regimen. purely taking the stairs fairly of the elevator can do greater advantageous than you would be able to think of.

Actually, your metabolism slows down when you eat fewer meals. Your body goes into starvation-mode to conserve calories. If you want to increase your metabolism, eat a number of small meals or snacks throughout the day. That will also keep the hunger away!

not eating or barely eating is extremely unhealthy for you. i think at age 13 you really shouldn't be worried about keeping your weight down since you're not large. If you were 190 lbs that would be a different story. however, i hope you realize that by not eating until you are satisfied and not giving your body sufficient nutrition you are starving yourself. Starving yourself makes your body turn into itself to give itself nourishment.
What does that mean? that means your body turns to what you have stored and when it does that, it depletes the stores you have. your nails will get yellow and brittle, your hair will fall out and you won't have shine to it anymore, your eyes will look sunken and you'll look extremely sick.
My suggestion is if you want to keep your metabolism kicking in a healthy manner, eat carbohydrates like bread, cereal, pasta. They fuel your muscles for running. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables and avoid processed sugars like sugared cereals, candy, soda...etc.
