Whosoever looketh upon a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already. If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
(MATT 5:28-29).

Jesus is talking about sinning and the impact it has in our lives. The wounds it causes are severe sometimes. In the short version- if one is sinning do anything and everything to get rid of that sin. Peace

It means to TAKE DRASTIC MEASURES to keep from sinning.

Take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ Jesus.

If you access pornography on the computer, either find a way to block those sights or get rid of your computer.

If you have to, throw your TV away.

Find an accountability partner.

Get counseling.

If a person is truly repentant and wants to change, there is help. Start with asking God for help, and if you have to get rid of stuff in your life that is causing you to stumble, do it.

Because losing apart of your body is better than being tortured in hell for eternity. when we go to heaven we get a brand new body, all parts are new. lusting after a woman is not worth losing eternal life with Jesus in heaven.living in happiness and no pain or sadness. its your choice. Heaven or hell will be the path you choose.
