Failed to evolve into either 1. a thinking human being 2. a human being with any sense of dignity and self-respect enough to associate with a religion based on authentic faith rather than callously and calculatingly hedging your bets.
Edit: I've get to take my hat off to dze...I mean, I may be at the butt of that joke as an atheist, but still, bravo! Subtle and poignant, while still answering the question, in a concise manner. Just good comedy...Christians have hope after all!

did no longer conform into the two a million. a thinking guy or lady 2. somebody with any adventure of dignity and self-understand sufficient to circulate alongside with a faith according to real faith rather than callously and calculatingly hedging your bets. Edit: I even have get to take my hat off to dze...I recommend, i could be on the butt of that comedian tale as an atheist, yet although, bravo! subtle and poignant, on an analogous time as although answering the question, in a concise way. merely stable comedy...Christians have wish after all!

Thanks. Gin and tonic for me, please.
For the record, the answer is pretty obvious: people are different. Some find so many flaws in Christianity that they reject it. Others find it more to their way of life; to their taste, if you will. They stay with it, even become activists within it. There are some heavy-duty power-trippers in the American Christian churches, you know, especially the evangelistic ones. And there are considerable numbers who put a little fishie on their Yellow Pages ad and have a successful business on the "good ol' boy" network. Or publish creationist textbooks, or sell "Jesus loves me" tee shirts, or whatever.

Atheists don't come from Christians. Some Christians have become Atheists but most Atheists are just that.

What do you mean by "atheists come from Christians"? Plenty of Christians believe something, anyway.
If I don't believe, I'm not gonna believe. If there is a god, too bad for me, then. (Yet I see no evidence of one, so I'm not worried.)

Because poor Evolution can't work as fast as the remaining Christians manage to indoctrinate and brainwash new members, especially kids.

For me, it would have upset my very Christian mother to argue with her about it and she had a tough enough time just knowing I'm bisexual and an atheist without me arguing with her over it. I don't like getting into arguments, especially with family. Especially with my mom who raised me with no help from my father.
