I have windows media player right now and im not sure what version it is and i recently got a DVD player for my computer and i tried playing a dvd and windows media player said that it needed a dvd decoder ?? but i dont want to pay for it so i heard that windows media player 11 already has a DVD decoder . When i went to download windows media player it asked me to validate that my microsoft was genuine and i clicked validate and then it said "to find out why we weren't able to validate windows click finish" and i then i clicked finished and it took me to a internet page and the page said that windows was now genuine and then i went to download windows media player 11 again and the same thing happened again! SOO SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!! i would greatly appreciatr it!! thanks

11 only works with Xp and Vista.

Try doing the alternate verification method, that's what I've had to do.
