Any cardio exercise is good for losing body fat - running, jogging, swimming, rope jumping, elliptical, hiking etc - but you have to do them 4-6 times a week for average of 45min.
Do crunches and some other ab workouts a couple of times a week (never 2 days in a row) and you also have to do weight training to gain more muscle all over your body and burn more calories (fat) - heavy weights, low amount of reps, 2-3 sets.
You have to eat 5-6 small meals a day, healthy food choices - lean protein, complex carbs, healthy fats, fruit and veggies and lots of water.
cut out all junk food, sodas, candy etc.

Any cardio like running or jumping rope can help you get a six pack. But you have to also train your ab muscles with different ab excercises such as sit ups and leg lifts (i don't reccomend crunches). I suggest you run a mile or two every day while eating healthy and not eating too much or else you won't lose any body fat. Research different ab excercises and find something that you like and stick to it.
