to lower body fat percentage you have to do cardio 4-6 times a week for average of 45min - definitely have one day a week for rest/recovery.
do light weight training a few times a week as well and eat 5-6 small meals a day - make healthy food choices and drink lots of water.

Most likely yes, because you will be losing body fat all around, but also be sure to eat healthy too. You don't want to run all that time just to put it back on eating junk food. The only way I can think it won't work is if it is in your genes to have big bellies...so look at your parents also.Good luck!

Belly fat is also caused by stress. Try to take a long, quiet walk with your mate and release some stress!
