The Greek word logos traditionally means word, thought, principle, or speech. The Greek language was around a long time before Christianity.

Here is your problem right here:
"WE KNOW" no such thing- only that John has told us that,
"The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us... " (John 1:14.)
Rushing people into Knowledge that they have not earned, and therefore are NOT READY for, is a simple technique of MIND CONTROL.
The so-called Prophets, Jesus and the Apostles so practiced this sort of Mind Control. So that they had vast numbers of BLIND FOLLOWERS who fell flat on their faces when there was no one to lead them by the hand.
There should have been hundreds of thousands of Christian manuscripts from different people, each with his own vibrant, dynamic Faith to express, but this did not happen, because the faith of the majority was dead, being second-hand, and pretended.

It would help if you gave a context, but the simple answer is that 'LOGOS' is a word that we use now. The logo of McDonalds is the Golden Arches. Get it?

"logos" simply means word. Perhaps the philosopher meant just that.
