Its really quite easy. PAY ALL YOUR BILLS ON TIME!

Dont pay some company to "repair" your credit. They are all scams... and that is money that needs to pay back the people you borrowed money from.

Get a copy of your credit report and make sure it is accurte and clean up any mistakes. Then make sure you know what your score is and understand the 5 things that effect your score - the two most important ones are paying on time and keeping your debt to credit ratio down - it is all explained in the link below in simple, non-technical language. This is all stuff you can do yourself to repair your creditt the FREE and LEGAL way - don't use money you could be paying down debt with to have someone do something you can do easily from home.

The easiest way is paying a credit repair company a monthly fee until the items you want to be cleared up are cleared up... but I do not recommend that because you won't get copies of the "paper trail" you could very well need in the future. I recommend you go to www.creditboards.com and read up on how to repair credit by yourself. The website has more info than you can read in a year.

The best way is to do it yourself, you have to have determination, and diligence. First, make sure you have a 3 merge report, Their are three agencies. Review them for accuracy. Contact the people you owe money to, and settle with them , making a agreement to repay over a period of time that is within your budget. Do not make agreements that can not be met. If they say they need more than you can afford on a monthly basis, start paying them a min. of $10.00 a month w/ check, or money order, and note at bottom that "payment to be applied to principal only ", if they cash it, keep paying that amt. until you can afford to increase it ! Hope this helps, Good Luck!

The easiest way in IMHO is to get somebody to help you that knows exactly how to fix your credit. I used a company that was referred to me, so maybe you should check them out and see what they can do for you. I know my credit score went up drastically in only 1 year, and now I can get credit cards or financing.

Pay your bills on time. If you are in debt now, call the companies and arrange payments. They will see you are at least trying to pay them back. If you keep all your bills payed, eventually your credit will build.

Get access to properly worded dispute letters then challenge the negative items. If your letter is not concise, direct, and properly worded to ensure results, it may be thrown directly into the trash can. Check out www.creditrepair101site.com for more info. Good luck.
