Like, literally, with the floods and the serpants and the Adam and Eve, do they REALLY? or do they just think its a parable?
I find it hard to believe even that!

Yes, I do believe that the bible ALL actually happened. Yes, like literally...Adam and Eve, the serpent, floods, God's chosen people, etc...yes, all are truthful accounts of God's relationship with his creation. If you can't believe it, that is your loss...my mind is open enough to accept that if God did have the power to create all of this then I can't possibly understand the details about how he did it...the stories in the bible are appropriately simplistic as befitting a human beings understanding of the universe.

The Bible never claims to be a history book or a police report. Almost all the stories in the Bible are influenced by theological and aesthetic purposes.

There are three components to Hebrew literature, Theological, Aesthetic, and Referential. (History)

So it is History but its also told in a way that makes a theological point and is quite aesthetic at the same time!

Amazingly, some people do believe the Bible in a 100% literal sense. How intelligent adults can wholeheartedly believe so much fantastical mythology and anti-scientific nonsense is beyond my comprehension.

Seriously YES!!........And for the rest mankind...... the apostle Paul described the spiritual blindness that envelops the world and pointed out the source of that blindness. "But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age (Satan) has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them" (2 Corinthians 4:3, 4)........

SOME people do take it all literally. As long as they leave you alone, let it go.

Of course it all actually happened!! What are you suggesting, that somebody just made it up!!???

And the "contradictions" - if you truely had Faith you wouldn't call them contradictions, you'd call them...um...different perspectives? (I'm not actually sure what we're supposed to call them!?)
