...seem to be outdoing one another for "Most Horrific Story" and "Sickliest Individual"? I'm beginning to wonder if this is purposeful and people are taking bets on who will agree to pray. Like - "Imacatholic2 for $10! $150 Thrice-Baked will 'send positive energy! Wait until SHE meets God... in HELL!" ;-)

Is this some sort of test?

I will usually tell people I will think of them since I never pray but it would seem that is not good enough for some of them and they feel insulted by that so I just keep quiet pretty much now.

If it's a test, well I pass... I've never prayed yet... not even when I was going through the childhood indoctrination phase...

Seems sort of contrived, to me. But hey, if even some of the prayer requests are genuine (because some people feel better about that sort of thing), it's not like it hurts anyone.

And, um, Ace_of_Spades is either a troll, or is one of those "everyone really believes in my god, the way I do, but some are just pretending not to" types.
Either way, it's kind of sad.

Love the new high-concept Cookie avatar! What's all this about horrific stories and praying??? I tend to stay out of the R&S section...it's NOT exactly McDonald's Play-land, ya know??? Welcome back, though!

It sounds like Batgirl has gone from brown nosing to ring around the collar! *Rib!*

I'd pray if asked... but I really don't see how mumbling into my hands fixes anything.

Hey thrice! My good friend!
Please send me positive energy!
I'll bake you a 17 layer caramel cake with yummy, sticky icing.

Sweetie, I don't care if someone asks for help through prayer.

IF it makes them feel better, it does not hurt me at all.
