Lately I have seemed to see a lot of sloppy, nerdy guys that are going out with middle aged asian or filipino women. Why is this? Have they struck out with American women? Ever wonder what their ladies see in them?

@ all the immature responders who said "get a life" etc......my life is very good right now, I have the best of everything life has to offer. I merely asked a question that my partner brought up when we were "people watching". Of course some small minded people here see it as an attack on others...puleeez, it's just an observation......(feel free to comment on this "additional" detail)

As this country ages the issues of nationality and race will become irrelevant and rightly so. It was once a big deal if an Irish and an Italian dated or wed. No longer. In the earlier part of the last century it was common to hear, "Marry your own kind." As we mature as a nation and a society those old ideas are today considered biased. So not far ahead we will not be a nation of white and pink or brown or black, but a nation of beige. And from what we've seen from the earliest mixed race children that are now adults we are going to be a country of beautiful people.

My son loves Asian women and a couple of his long time girlfriends were up to 15 years older than him.
He may be nerdy,but is a sharp dresser since I buy most of his clothes in Europe for him.
H e is not rich and he doesn't take money from his girlfriends.They are always friends first.He finds them to be real and interesting and very pretty. H e loves thier look and they like his.
He is tall with red hair and they are crazy over him.They treat each other with repect and really everyone is the same inside.

I honestly think that there is NOTHING wrong with interracial couples. I love dating all races, a new experience one might say. Just because I date a white boy doesn't necessarily mean that I'm tired of black, Asian guys etc. It just means that I have found a mutual connection with someone of another race. So just because a nerdy guy (who are one of the cutest types in my opinion) goes with an Asian or Philippine women, doesn't mean that they are tired or have a grudge towards American women, it simply means that they have found a connection with someone new. I think people who sit around and criticize other people's relationships obviously have nothing better to do with their lives and probably aren't happy with where they are. Matter of fact, these types of people probably fantasize about being with people of another race but are scared to just because of what society has internalized in their head. Am I talking about you? If you think I am then maybe you know that you are the type that I'm referring to.

I work with alot of Filipinas and only one of them is married outside their nationality. She married an Arab, although admittedly a Video game programmer. He's related to Kuwaiti royalty, or something like that, but in that area, who isn't. The Filipina, is very Americanized, and they met in college. I have notice alot of Chinese AMericans marrying Jews. Most of them are Americanized. I take that back, I did know a Filipina who married to stay here, but don't know the race of the guy she married. Only met her once.

Must be the area you live in. I see a lot of sloppy, nerdy guys with beautiful women and wonder why the women seem to be the ones that have to do all the work of being attractive. Maybe it's wealth, who knows?

No.As far as I'm concerned,people can date who they want.It really annoys me that just because an American person decides to date outside their culture people ASSUME they can't get an American to date.
