see an old boyfriend..let's just say you had a bad break up...he is a talker...(in others words likes to tell stuff)...should you just try to AVOID him...or just try to leave the party???...WHAT IS BEST TO DO?....because you are not sure how he will react...he could spread stuff....(remember he was ANGRY)

Never let a EX dictate what you WANT to do. Stay and talk with the guy you like. Its a free country and unless you are currently married to him you have zero obligations to him. People dont believe everything they hear.

Stay. Don't allow him to do this to you. I'm sure you were extremely nice to the guy right. You broke up. The past is the past. If he starts stuff with you, just walk away. don't leave. If he is angry it might be he still has feelings for you. I don't know. Remember it didn't work out the first time it won't work again. at least for a long while.

Keep in mind that "talkers" tend to sabotage themselves. When it comes right down to it, talking to the guy you're interested in is the best way to overcome anything your ex would have to say.
So let the new guy get to know you, let the ex vent (and come across as the jealous, petty, loudmouth type), and let yourself relax. It'll pay off when the new guy sees that the ex isn't bugging you - cool and collected are **seriously** hot for guys.

The best thing to do would be to not avoid your old boyfriend. You like someone else now, so you should stay focused on them. Do not let an old flame ruin your time.

I would stay and talk to the guy I am interested. Never let anyone chase you out of a party.I would not go out of my way to avoid my ex. If we came across one another I would at least smile. If he seems to be in a crappy mood towards me I would ask the guy I am talking to if he wants to get out of there and go somewhere we can get to know one another better.
