Easiest control-
Connect each of your devices to your TV with HDMI and connect the TVs audio outputs to the TV input on your receiver. This won't give you the best audio performance but you won't have to switch inputs.

If you don't have a 1080P TV and if the receiver has component switching then you might try connecting with component video and digital audio cables through the receiver. Then connect the Component Video outputs from the receiver to the TV. This way you won't have to switch inputs on the TV just on the receiver. It will mean that the receiver always has to be on when watching TV.

For best performance and best operation connect HDMI from each device to the TV and digital audio cables(optical or coax) from each device to the receiver (this is assuming that the receiver is a Dolby Digital/DTS receiver). To handle the control part get a $99-$150 Harmony remote control. After programming the remote will handle all the switching on receiver and TV. To watch TV press the "watch TV" button, the remote won't control the PS3 so you will have to use the PS3 controller for that but the harmony will switch to the right input for you on the TV and Receiver. Good Luck.
