Can I gently heat the lasagne in a saucepan if I stir it round and chop it up? I'm STARVING and have nothing else to eat - not even cereal!

You could if it's a ready-meal, but it'll probably end up looking pretty bad....kinda like lasagne soup!

Is the lasagne A LASAGNE or some lasagne sheets? If lasagne sheets, just heat them in a pan as you would any pasta and you'll get edible pasta... a big lump of it probably, but still edible and will taste ok. If it's a ready-made lasagne, put it in a pan, cover it, heat it gently until it's all hot and eat it. I guess that could be kinda nice actually.

Layer the sauce between the lasagne sheets and heat gently. It will take around 25mins to cook on the hob. That's how I cook lasagne, but I do have an oven.

Although your desciption is limited, let me guess at your situation.. You live in a dorm, and you have a pre-made lasagna, and you needing to know how to heat it up. If this is true, then yes you can. If this is an already cooked lasagna, you can break it down and put it in a sauce pan and heat it u slowly, as you can burn it quickly. Cook at a slower tempature, and yes stir frueqently. If this is un-cooked lasagna noodle, you are out of luck, even if these are no boil noodles, you will still end up with crunchy noodles if you don't have an oven. Good Luck

If the pasta is already cooked then you should be alright doing that, but if the lasagne sheets are dried and uncooked then I wouldn't bother cos it would never cook in a million years on top of the hob like that. Sorry pet.

Of course you can :) but put a lid on it and stir frequently, keeps in the moisture so that the pasta cooks properly... obviously the rest cooks fine as it is being cheese and saucy mince :) Hope it's nice!
