Im sure there is a technical word for it, Kinda like the way when you need a Police officer there aint one, and when you dont need one they are everywhere!
Anyways...
Sounds like you are still kinda young...
Looking back now, the girls I used to talk easily to are now the type of girl I like...
Just be patient... If you feel more comfortable talking to girls you dont like (using your words here) keep talking to them... Its a good sign you can actually talk to girls... Most men never have.... Hence the reason they think that if you buy them a drink its a "day rider" pass in their pants!
You will learn well from these girls!!! Study hard young padwan!!

Because u don't really care about what the girls ur not into think of u. Their ur friends, or acquaintances. But u want girls u like to like u back, and think ur cool. So u clam up. U don't know what to say to make urself look good to them. Then when u do talk, u hope u say and do the right stuff, because u could blow it for urself.
I'm like that with guys too. I"m shy around most people in general, but I can carry on a conversation with guys i'm not into far easier than with guys I like.

It is hard for you to talk to girls that you like because you have feelings for them, so you get shy or scared. But when it comes to talking to your friends that are girls, it is easy because they are just your friends and you don't look at them as a girl you would date.

Because you are afraid of saying the wrong thing and upsetting the girls you like and as far as the other girls you dont like you dont have to impress them so therefore it doesn't matter what you say to them

because girls that are your friends you talk to all the time because their only your friends and you dont feel for them like that but girls you like you feel for them alot and its hard to say something cause your scared you might mess up and get embarresed but just keep ur cool

because of the fact that you like the girl it makes it harder to talk to her because you dont want to do something that might make her think differently about you. Like you think you might say something wrong etc... I think this happens to a lot of people

Because you're not trying to impress any of them and you're alreayd used to them because you're friends already (I'm guessing) and cuz you feel soemthing more, liek emotion for the girl you like but not for the ones you dont like.

because you are trying to impress the girl and act proper and all that so you think way to much while trying to seem smooth. But over thinking your actions makes it really hard to seem smooth.
