Deserts: Pecan pie, Peanut brittle, Pumpkin pie, Sweet potato pie...
Snacks: I love roasted pecans - you just can't stop eating them...just melt a little butter, mix in a healthy splash of Worcestershire sauce and pour the pecans in. Use your hands to mix, making sure each nut gets a little coating. Cover a flat plan with tin foil (makes clean up a breeze) and spread out all of your pecans on it...sprinkle liberally with salt (optional: for heat add a little cayenne) pop into the oven on 200 degrees Fahrenheit and check them every 30 minutes or so until they're done to your taste.
Pop 'em in a festive dish and serve 'em up...
Additionally if you chop these up they make an awesome crunchy topping to cheese balls, and salmon logs.
Happy cooking!

Clam Chowder with home made rolls...An apple pie or Pecan, all home made! That's just to get the house smelling so good and cozy!
Every thing I do is home made. You know you should buy a small crock pot and put water, sliced oranges, Cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, apples and a sprinkle of nutmeg. Let this simmer away in the crock pot with the lid a little open and your home will smell so good. Makes every one feel welcomed!
