No I love weddings... but I would take more pleasure in being invited to a divorce...

i love a good wedding if you get on with the peoples whos wedding it is or your close to them!!!
my cousin got married yesterday but i refused the invite, she didnt invite cousins to the daytime only the night and the cheeky cow still put a gift list in the card!!!
ive not seen her for 4years so it wasnt a problem to not go!!!

I don't take pleasure in NOT going, but I certainly don't take pleasure in going to them. Weddings are socially stressful, to me.

my husband is a pastor and I often direct weddings.
I love to share in such an important day with a couple. It never fails to remind my husband and me of our wedding and the vows we took. Big or small, expensive or not each one is very special to the couple getting married and I get to have a part!

No who would, however it was just a couple of days ago a friend of mine had been asked to a wedding reception but was skint and was thinking of not going, only because she was skint. not because she felt good not going. there are many reasons people don't go to weddings , being horrible is not always one of them

no I feel bad that i am unable to go especially close family weddings.. I am disabled and they just don't understand the extend of the special needs i have. It is sad. they offer to help and what they offer and are willing to do doesnt even come close to what i would need. They seem to resent that i turn them down after they have offered help.
