Don't worry about it, more cake for you! I am sure that if you live on cake then the money you save could be spent on other things - Dry Blackthorn Cider perhaps, lol:-D

The best--this Fall we had friends get married. It was at an exclusive country club so they had use of the whole place. Amazing band that played all night, amazing food and drink, cigar roller, candy buffet, ice cream bar and a smoothie bar. Everyone drank and ate and danced all night and one of the most relaxed. It was THE BEST wedding we have been to and we've been to tons of them. The worst--I've been to several and it's a tie. For some reason, many of our friends have decided that giving the dj an entire playlist is a good idea. At one, the bride was about 45 minutes late (I was a BM and had to stall at the church) and the didn't care and the priest nearly walked out since he specifically said he has a 15 minute rule because it's rude for brides to think that they can do whatever they want without regard to the fact that the church may have other activities it has to get ready for. In addition, in her "frugalness" she hired a dj that seemed like it was a hobby and only was allowed to play what was on her playlist so there was nothing good and it felt like we were at a high school dance circa 1993. At another wedding, I was again a BM and we wore the most horrendous dresses that didn't fit ANY of us...the food was horrible, the music was horrible and everything was so awkward.

Ok, so 200 were invited, how many RSVP'd "Yes"?
Just because 200 are invited, does not mean that 200 will say yes.
I would send the cake to a homeless shelter for those to eat.

OK. A bride plans her wedding to perfection. Its a HUGE deal, you want to remember this day for the rest of your life and it hurts. I understand how that must feel even though I'm not married honey.
But look at the bigger picture here. The groom turned up! And you love this person and want to spend your life with them, and your married now!!
So good luck in your married life. If you want the day to be special, re-new your vows in a year or two years time. Costly, I admit, but a small price to pay for remembering your special day.
Budget properley, keep it small and special. Keep your flowers and dress and the outfits, thats a huge saving in itself.
I'm so sorry this has happened to you and I know it will hurt for some time but there is no point in worrying about it. Concentrate on your happiness and get those vows renewed!
Good luck and let me know how it goes

What? Didn't the wedding invitation replies give you an indication of how many people were going to attend? There's something not right about your question.......
Eat all the cake yourself and enjoy it, or pepper it with laxative powder and send a slice to each of the guests who let you down by not attending.

How come you guys did not have RSVP on the invitations so you knew how many people to plan on attending the reception? If what you have said is true then who cares about who did not show up? It was your day, is about the two of you and why do you care about the people who did not want to share your joy on the most important day of your lives? I guess unlike Marie Antoinette's famous advise they did not want to eat cake........

No one showed up because they don't like you. In fact I'm surprised you were able to find someone to marry you. You don't look like a man, more like the most hideously disgusting woman I have ever seen.
I think this is completely fake. You didn't get married and putting question mark at the end of a half formed sentence doesn't make it a question. Why would you even put this is here?

Well, look on the bright side.... you can freeze a TON of it for your first anniversary and have a nice 1st anniversary party-- only this time, you'll have a much better idea of whom to invite. As that comedian said, when life gives you lemons, find someone whose life has given them vodka, and have a party!
Congrats and don't let people get you down, enjoy the honeymoon......
