Hi. I have an idea for a poem, and I need to incorperate 7 different wars into it. What would you consider the most famous and influencial wars in global history?
I'd appreciate it if the wars spanned throughout history as much as possible (you know, don't make them all a year apart) and that the list uses as many different countries as possible.(please don't just list every American war you can think of)

Punic Wars - Made Rome strongest power in world
American Revolution - model for other revolutions (French, etc)
WW1
WW2
Cold War
Vietnam
Six Day War (1967) - still affects the politics of the Middle East today
Soviet War in Afghanistan - Led to the fall of the USSR
Iraq II
That's more than 7... you can cut out some of the American wars if you want :)
