Im in the market for a LCD flat-panel and I want a connection between my computer and the LCD. How will the images look on the lcd from my PC? Also are there any special cables I need to buy?

IT will produce an image with the same resolution as the Video card can provide to it.....same clarity.

It's ALL in the Video card, and the material you're attempting to deliver to it....ALL you need to get the signal over to the TV is the same cable that PC monitors connect up with....DB-15 .

It all depends on your video card on your PC.
Good old VGA can certainly support HD output. If you have a PC with DVI output, then even better.

Cables depend on your PC and the TV you plan to buy.
If your PC has only VGA out, then buy a VGA cable and make sure your TV has a VGA input port.
If your PC has DVI out, then you will need a DVI-to-Hdmi cable.
In both cases you will need a separate audio cable. Either 3.5 mm to RCA or 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm depending on the TV.
