Depends on the venue. Larger ones like MSG use Ticketmaster, but some smaller neighborhood-type theatres use their own box office. Check with the exact venue for for their deals.

Forget Ticketmaster - they're always sold out or only have the worst seats left.
I've had really good luck with eBay. They guarantee the authenticity of their tickets. I've always found good deals there.
