The God, under the muse of "Uncle Sam" you wish to call him, along with the Goddess under the alias of "Lady Liberty", are keeping their watchful eyes upon our country.
No, we don't have democracy, we have a Republic. But I prefer Oligarchies.

Well, some people here are half right in saying that the U.S. is a constitutional republic, which is a specific form of a liberal democracy. So some sort of democracy exists, but today's government isn't exactly what the founders held in mind, especially with the President saying he has "executive authority" and what not when he wants to do what normally would be considered illegal.
Is god blessing America? Who knows, was he every blessing us at all?

God is blessing America, even through the fire, the floods, the hurricanes, the coal mines, the bridges, the fallen "stars", nov.06, and so forth. Yes, we do have democracy in this land, albeit a perversion of freedom under the current administrator, and current culture, and current media, and current churches, and current beliefs, etc.

Yes of course america is a democracy,you can pick any rich person you want to be pres.As for the god bit,well keep this to yourself but he doesn't exist,it's just a story to get people to behave a certain way.

i'm not going to get into political bull crap, but I believe God is blessing America ...we DO NOT deserve it. He's kept us safe. But what do we do to bless God as a nation? Nothing. He has all the right in the world to do to America what He did to Judah ...at least afterwards we'd believe.

The USA is not a democracy, and was never intended to be. It is a Constitutional Republic.

I fear that as we remove GOD from this country, a little bit at a time, that GOD will take away HIS blessings. GOD help us if we were an atheist country.
