okay well my mom asked me to find some clothes of mine to let my sister wear. the reason is because my sister has gained a lot of weight from drinking and her breast implants. and she smokes terribly and i really would not want all that smoke smell on my clothes. i said no and that none of my stuff would fit. but then again don't forget that she is 21 and i am 12! its not my job to deal with this. am i right?

I'm on your side for this one.
You are 12 and your clothes are most likely not sized correctly for the figure of a 21 year old. I think your Mom needs to realize that and not hold you responsible on finding some of your clothes for her to wear.
You should have a talk with your Mom and explain to her how you do not think that your clothes will fit your sister. Prove it to her-grab a shirt and put it against your sister to show that the shirt won't fit her.
It is not your job to try and clothe a 21 year old. I don't wanna be too harsh, but in my opinion, your sister should be capable of finding some clothes for herself if she is 21 and is able to have a job and/or live out on her own. If she cannot clothe herself still then that is a whole different story and will involve your mom and your sister. None of these situations should involve you.

Good luck!

While you are 12, and your family sounds like a bunch of (fill in the blank) you are right in principle. People believe that children should do whatever their parents say, but in your case when your mom is completely out of line, you did the right thing. First off, if your mom wants clothes for your sister, then she can go buy some, there are a lot of thrift shops in the country. Second why would a chunky girl get boob jobs? Thats like putting a dress on a whale, or a paint job on a car without windows or doors. Plus if she smokes and doesn't have clothes she wouldn't take care of your clothes anyways.

I Think You're Right And That Your Mom Shouldn't Have Pulled You Into It. But Also Remember That This Is Your Sister And It Sounds Like She Needs Your Help! Help Her Like You Would Want Someone To Help You In Your Time Of Need.
OR You Could Tell Your Sister To Get A Job And Start Buying Some Clothes.
I Hope It All Works Out!

I didn't realize a 21 year old could fit into a 12 year old's clothes. But 21 is an age where she should probably be responsible for getting her own clothes assuming she is able bodied and not mentally challenged. And getting a breast job, I assume she's both.

You are doing the right thing, your sister will have to find another means of clothes.

Do you think your cloths would fit her? she is 21 and you are 12. I don`t think they would, but your mom told you to get her some of your cloths, get them, she is the boss.It might not be right , but its all in the familey.

i agree and understand you don't want your clothes to smell of smoke like you said your only 12. and your clothes are your property and its your choice if you wish to lend them to your sister or not. x

You are right. If she needs clothes, she needs to go out and get herself some. You are only responsible for you.

Of course it's not your problem! That's just ridiculous, you shouldn't be the one getting in trouble! You're not the one smoking and drinking! I'd say you're very responsible, and I commend you on standing your ground!
