What do you mean Jesus didn’t establish a church?

If that’s true then what did Jesus mean when He said in… Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My Church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. That’s the reason for all of our ancestors to leave the European continent and come to these United States… to get away from the Roman Catholic church’s form of “His Church“… they call it the Roman Catholic church, not the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ… and our ancestors didn’t want to belong to any apostate church designed by a group of individuals who took “His Church” over and attempted to teach us another doctrine other than the doctrines and precepts of our Lord God Jesus Christ my misinformed friend… read the Bible in a better light than the one you have been reading under…

The true church of God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, lays within the hearts and minds of all the men, women and children throughout the whole world where the might and powers of men and Satan cannot get at it. It is not a building of cold stones and mortar nor an institution of calloused administrators and professors, it is alive and well, catholic yet hidden and even the gates of hell cannot prevail against it. Thank You Jesus!

Jesus did give revelations. Unfortunately, the church on the north side of the Mediterranean which eventually became the Catholic Church set up the New Testament to leave out those revelations. If the south side had won, we'd be living under them.

Jesus didn't establish A church, He established THE church. The church is the body of Christ. We are all part of Him. We are not free to interpret as we feel. The scripture is pretty clear. Jesus paid the price for our sins, but that does not mean we can sin as we please. God's word is quite clear on that as well.

HE established the Christian church. HE said that the temple in Jerusalem would be destroyed in a generation. We are NOT free to interpret scriptures as we "feel led"! We are told NOT to sin.

Where did you get these crazy ideas from?

GOD bless

Just being Catholic is not going to save you alone. You must partake in the Holy Sacraments that God has given us. That means going to confession to confess your sins not only to a priest but the priest who is in the person of Christ and ask God for his forgiveness. To receive Him in the Holy Eucharist to have him come one with you. Just being Catholic will not save you unless you totally believe in the faith and live the faith as all the saint that have gone before us . Pray to our and the worlds Holy Mother Mary and all the saint to help you with you belief. We are all call be saints and just going to church on Sunday will not do the trick. You must live your life for our God.
May God peace be with you
Holy Mother Mary and all the saints pray for us.

the catholic religion is a joke. go pentecostal, and jesus did die for us and our sins but doesnt mean ur "saved automatically" u have to pray for forgiveness daily, accept jesus into ur life, get baptized(not that holy water on the baby thing), and preach the word of God to others. Then u will be saved, READ THE BIBLE PEOPLE!!!

What do you mean when you say "he didn't give any new revelations"?. What is The Book of Revelations, if not made new? Not everyone goes to heaven, not even those who call themselves "High and Mighty", and none go in a hand-basket.

a church doesn't have to be a a physical structure. Christ started what you could call an "organization.. he laid hands on his followers to go and administer and teach his doctrine to the believers and non believers....sounds like church to me....and doesn't catholicism claim to be that "organization" or "church" doesn't the pope receive revelations from god??
