Not sure if I want a wedding dress, but just a really fancy dress,
we both have children, he was married by A j.p. and I was married by a preacher. so I thought about a garden wedding but simple sweet. in march.

How about going for a nice spring time colour Dress... Maybe not Covering you all up like traditional wedding dress.... Maybe with a shawl...

That would be cool, Even if not a wedding dress, a dress of such style, maybe in a spring colour.
Just because its "Take 2" dont let go the chance of wearing a lovely dress... This will also make you feel really happy when you look back and remember wearing this dress..
You dont have to have a garden wedding. Also some Larger Hotels Do weddings... How about at an old ruined abbey... Or somewhere with a view.
Unless money is an issue.
If money isnt an issue.. How about a wedding abroad.. or at sea?
Remember church weddings are ok if you really eat sleep breathe god. Otherwise, bring real life not make believe into your wedding.

I think with it being in a garden in March you may want to go with a slim fitting dress with mybe as little train as possible that way it wount get too dirty. Just because your going slim fitting doesnt mean it has to be totaly plain I would go with something that has a lot of beading all over the dress maybe something that starts at the waist and disipates through out the dress or maybe even beading overlay all over the dress.

Second time around I wore a very pretty cream colored wedding dress. It had long flowing sleeves and bead work, but no train and no vail. I found it at a local bridal shop. They had many cream or off white dresses to chose from.
A garden wedding sounds very nice (had mine outside at a rose garden). Just make sure that you get everything you want, the way you want it. Just because this is your second time around doesn't mean it isn't special. :)

A garden wedding sounds lovely! You could just buy a really fancy dress, as you said, OR, they do make simple and elegant "informal" gowns. There are lots and lots on the web and in bridal stores.

Anything goes nowadays. Some still wear the full on white dress, some wear a simple floral church dress. Do what suits your style and have a great day!

I just recently got remarried. I had my dress special made for me. It had a 12ft train. It was what I wanted and I could afford it this time around so we went all out. I feel that it is your wedding don't let anyone tell you what you should or should not do. Just do what feels comfortable to the two of you.

i am old fashion.. so white is out. however you can have any theme you want these days. a garden wedding would be beautiful with the colors of nature.. the bright yellows and reds and greens. or an elegant garden dress of peach. now all white.. is fine..in form of suit... or sun type dress. wow i am getting excited for you. i think garden would be perfect

well for me the first sucked. I want the next time to be something special. where he look in my eyes and i would look in his and knew we are right for each other and nothing we ever go though would change the love we have for one other. The dress, the place, and the gifts don't matter. It might sound dumb just know I'll have a life time with him would be enough for me.

i like your idea,i wanted a long white dress with small purple flowers and a bow that tied in the back .i could not find it or a pattern so i had a simple white dress,kind of a bridesmaid dress.i liked it fine.you can have whatever you want.congratulations and good luck.
