There are two sorts of higher education you can get. One is vocational and the other is academic. Liberal Arts is academic. Business Administration is an example of vocational.

Vocational degrees teach you to "do" something - Academic degrees teach you to understand "why" of something.

Generally, vocational degrees = job titles. Academic degrees = knowledge.

In this way, there is no such thing as BA in Liberal Arts = xyz job. It's just not that simple. However, BA in Liberal Arts can qualify you for any number of jobs out there.

In another sense, the liberal arts degree gives you more options than a vocational degree. Most important, the liberal arts education is about becoming educated and not about finding a job.

Instead of considering what jobs can be found with a certain degree (unless you already have one), consider what degree is required for the career you're interested in. There's no need to put the trailer in front of the truck. (modernization of 'cart before the horse')
