Can you just answer the question please. If I can create a new breed of dog by SELECTING certain traits and breeding them.
Why is it so hard to believe that environmental pressure can do the same? This is evolution. And don't tell me God made Chiuauas however you spell the friggin thing.

I don't think there are many intelligent people who are arguing that point- the point that is being argued is that a chihuahua is still a dog- no matter how much selective breeding takes place- no animal has ever evolved into a completely different species- a dog is a dog is a dog, no matter what the varying traits are, it is still a dog.

The environment has the biggest impact on evolution.... It is what triggers genetic mutation.... because the genetic structure of every living thing is dependent on our environment. The more our environment changes the more evolutionary changes you will see in the things around us...including human beings.... everything is ever evolving into something different.... Look at the differences between the cromagnam man, neolithic man, neanderthals, and us.... the differences were triggered by environmental changes. Not only did we evolve but so did the other flora and fauna....

un-natual selection is random selection

it works but you need luck.

if you plan something in advance, select it, you have a better chance of getting what you selected.

and I don't know how to spell the dogs name, either.

It does! That is why we don't have dinosaurs today. It is also called "survival of the fittest"
