I am not sure I understand. Was it reported because I was stating that I didn't appreciate what she said about Jesus or was in reported because I "re-stated" what she said about Jesus? It wasn't my words. It was Kathy Griffens words. I felt it was a worthy question since she made degrading comments about an important religious Man. I wanted your opinions. So was that worth reporting? In a way I am glad people thought that by me simply quoting what she said about Jesus was even wrong for me to quote. It shows that there are still some people that have tolerance for things they do not approve of such as the belief in Jesus Christ. The E channel is going to censor her comments for the Saturday night broadcast of that show.

I better answer before this question gets removed too.
Narrow mindedness is the cause. Obviously someone didn't even fully read your question before reporting it.

Probably someone who doesn't believe in Kathy Griffen's atonement.
Seriously, freedom of speech applies to all aspects of speech, not just the aspects approved of by right wing nut job Jesus fanatics. However, this being said. I don't think what Kathy said was in good taste at all.
Why slander other people's faith???

What would Jesus do? I think Jesus has just as much if not more class as any other celebrity. He would have just laughed and ignored it.

It probably got reported because somebody got a bug up their bum about it. Many people find offense where none is meant or given. They fail to understand that some things are offensive to them only because they have chosen to be offended by them. And what really gets me is when people report others because they feel a statement made alludes to some other meaning, and that the meaning is meant to be offending. Don't they realize that reporting something like that is more a reflection on themselves than on the person making the statement? Since the person hasn't come right out and said anything offensive in the statement, then that means the person reporting it must think in an offensive way in order to pull the offensive meaning out of it that they are saying is in it.

I don't think that your question should have been reported or deleated. And I personally don't agree with her comments either, but she has the right to say them. Scientologists win awards all the time and probably feel exactly the same way that she does. The difference it that she threw it in the Christian's face. Just consider the source and move on.

I don't know why you would be reported. I thought reporting was only for racist remarks or extreme profanity. Isn't there anyone from Ya who actually checks these out and makes informed decisions?

They might have thought you were chatting, which is a violation of Community Guidelines.

The new reporting system is far from corrupt. It is designed to allow real violations to be reported, while at the same time giving less and less weight to frivolous reporters. If you don't like it, maybe you should reevaluate your participation here.

I remember reading your question. No, I do not think it warranted being reported. I think 99.99% of the questions and answers reported in here are unwarranted, spiteful and mean.

Maybe they meant to hit the "star" button, and missed. I did that once because I was to hasty and clumsy.
