Without a lawyer, the cheapest and BEST thing you can do is find out what your court case numbers will be and file a notice of appeal or just a notice that you are working and trying to pay off your bills. You can get the notice which is just a plain letter with your address, the plaintiff's address, TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: followed by your statement which should be about 1-2 pages long. You can do this at a public library or on your own computer with a printer. You can get the notice notarized for free at your banking institute and then file it at the court house for about $10.00-$15.00. Basically, this is all a lawyer would do for you plus charge you attorney fees just to ponder up a simple notice or whatever you need. The biggest legal resource you have is right in front of you - the Internet. There are free legal forms in a downloadable ebook which can give you an idea of how to prep your notice. I will include that in my source. You can also go to Office Max and pick up a legal document book for about 10.00 called the Everyday Legal Resource Book which has over 200 legal documents in it for everyday use. Using these resources will save you time and money, and they will educate you in the world of politics.

It doesn't actually seem that you've changed. You broke the law and didn't pay the consequences, and somehow you still think you don't have to pay the consequences. There's no getting out of this. You should get a lawyer and turn yourself in for whatever is to come. The more you cooperate, the less the punishment will be.

if you claim you have changed your life around, part of that is accepting responsibility for what you have done wrong. there's not "getting out of it". your best bet is to turn yourself in. if you turn yourself in and can prove you have tried to improve your life and want this taken care of, a judge might take pity on you and go light. however, if you keep ignoring the fact you have warrants and you eventually get busted, the sentence may be more harsh.

"Changing your life around" includes taking care of past indiscretions. You will continue to be "haunted" until you accept what you have done and face the music.
