I'm sorry, before I say anything. I'm not here to bash anyone, or be a racist, I just want to speak my mind here. I hate christians, for many reasons. Setting your mind on some book, I'm sure Jesus Christ didn't write is something I find rediculous.I hate it because They are shoving their own beliefs down other peoples' throats saying "The only one and right true way to God is our lord and savior Jesus Christ" Hearing this makes me puke. They think that people who are against their church is against God. They arent aware that their ancestors are forced into being a Christian, threatening to kill them if they don't turn to jesus christ. I spit. I have nothing against jesus christ or God, I respect them both, it's their fan club that makes me mad. They burn "witches"(people accused of being witches, that doesnt mean they are) they burned their wifes and children. millions of people were killed during the Burning Times. All they do is hate.

Okay, If your all mad at me, I'm sorry I'm just very agry with what they do. They aren't listening to Jesus Christ anymore.

To Cristians: If you say that I'm turning away from the Lord Jeus Christ, Maybe it's YOU who have turn your backs on Christ. If you didn't you wouldn shove your beliefs down other peoples throats and teaching your children to hate.

Unless there is proof that I a 17yr old with in league with Satan, Keep your mouths shut. don't bring quotes from the bible as they don't count as proof. Satan is just a stupid hoax, it's nothing more to me than a scare tactic. I don't believe in him, and if he is real, What's he gunna do, when iam much stronger than he is.

I'm sorry if you assume I'm intolerant as well. But reading books and seeing that innocent people, were killed because they dont want to face christ.

They cause a young girl to commit suicide 5 years ago, by shove beliefs down her throats. Wiccans and pagans, I want to support religious tolerance as much as you do, but I don't see any point in trying seeing that they don't see us as friends not enemies.

If you all want me to forgive them, It's easier said than done. Looking back at what they do, They bash gays whom all they want to do is fit into society Th bible says, Men who Kiss another man shalt be put to death, that makes me mad. If they all think that they are so much better than other faiths, I find it very difficult to forgive them. I have dont plenty of research, they teach your kids that in history class. Read a history book and see what they do, before america was created.

I would like to say to you all that I'm very sorry for the rant. Not only did I make a fool of myself in public, I hurt some christians feelings and insulting them without meaning to...

Please forgive me everyone, I forgot about this one rule set in stone "harm none do as thou wilt" I'm just so angry when I heard what happened in the persecutions, Hundreds of witches were kidnapped, raped and killed by cristians very recently in canada. There were signs everywhere in the street, saying burn the witches, the devil's servants are upon us. I finally understand that they really don't know any better. I'm sure you all agree that this is not an excuse to kill innocent people.

You are obviously a very angry person, and don't tell me you a peace in your soul, I have been a Christian for a long time I can tell you that hating me for what I believe will not upset me, I love you because you are you, no strings attached, if you hate me because I believe in Jesus thats fine, I will accept that, as matter of fact it fulfilling prophecy from the Bible. Obviously as a Christian who loves people I would not be a party to burning anybody, neither would any other Christian I know. People who want to hurt somebody can you whatever name they want or reason they want, but it willnot having anything to do with being a Christian. A real hatred for someone comes from deep inside, Jesus loves everyone and he wants his followers to love everyone, What did Jesus say to the woman caught in adultery, Go and sin no more. That was his message, adultery just like witchcraft is against the Bible, and the Bible is saying, Go and sin no more. He didn't say stone here, he said woman where is thine accusers. A real follower of Jesus, a real Christian does not hate, pure and simple. Good luck to you, and best wishes. Send me an email if you like.

I'm sorry you hate us. But I could never hate someone because I believe in something different. Believing in Christ is not disgusting, did you know that Muslims also murdered people and forced them to convert to Islam? Do you hate all other faiths? Any minute that I spend hating someone is one minute wasted.

Also conceited people are atheists and wiccans too, not just Christians.

Also I do not shove my faith down people's throats. The vast majority of Christians are not like this ,it's the few that do that get all of the attention. I try to live by example and talk and discuss Jesus with people. However if a person wants to curse at me laugh or call me names I would just leave them alone. :)

You know, while I believe that it takes all kinds, including in paganism, it's this kind of drek that makes me think we need to filter our ranks a little more, or at least start thwapping people with clue-by-fours.

Not all Christians are evil. Not all are conceited. Not all are out to harm others. I can show you a nice array of friends of mine who are Christians and who have no problem with my being pagan.

The Inquisition was about POLITICS--learn to do research. Christianity was jsut an excuse. The Inquisition was actually feared by most Christians, adn many Christians (who in fact made up the majority of the Inquisition's victims) died because they were of the wrong politics, or because they owned property the Church wanted. And, by the way, millions of people were NOT killed; the correct figure was more in the hundreds of thousands.

You want to talk about religious suppression? How about the way that Buddhism suppressed native Asian shamanic traditions? It's true; the "peaceful" religion of Buddhism was a classic state religion, complete with political clout, up until Communism in China. Buddhist efforts wiped out numerous indigenous practices that are forever lost.

Or, if you feel so high and mighty about being a pagan, what about the Roman pagans throwing people to the lions, whether they were Christian or not? Or have you never studied gladiators and other such events? The Roman state religion was paganism based on the Olympians.

Your ignorance is a LOT more dangerous than the existence of Christianity itself. Grow up, stop making these incredibly ignorant, uneducated assumptions and claims, and go start reading. Even Wikipedia is a better source than your drivel.

Lass, you need to let go. Even if you don't forgive them, if you cling to that level of hatred, it'll burn you like acid until you're just as twisted and hate-filled as the folks you're speaking against. Neitchze was right, in that you need to be careful when fighting demons....

Speaking of which - yes, there's some pretty hateful Christians out there, who use their "faith" as a weapon. But there's also the true Christians out there, the ones who really do live their faith, who are wonderful and shining examples of the good parts of their religion. The hard part is, as they say, separating the wheat from the chaff.

And, as Robin said, the "millions" number from the Burning Times is an exaggeration. That's not the say that the several hundred thousand deaths are meaningless - each one was a tragedy - but it doesn't help anything when the accusations are incorrect.

Hate eats you up from the inside out. Every one has the right to believe however they want!

The Christians did not burn Witches at the stake, they burned people who didn't agree with their way of thinking, and called them witches!
In fact in Salem NONE of the people that were killed practiced witchcraft. The only person who did anything close to witchcraft was Hicaba and she was put in jail and latter released.

You are correct that Cristian's did many terrible things out of hate! So do you really want to continue the vicious cycle?

Remember the Wiccan Rede! DO NO HARM! If you continue to foster this hatred then you are harming yourself! Let it go! Find peace!

Blessings!

Edit: The only person in this world you can change or control is yourself! I am not mad at you! Why should I be! I just hope you would find a way to move on. If you don't like what Christians post don't read it or give it a thumbs down.

No one! NO ONE is perfect. Even people that claim to be Pagans and Wiccans do bad things to their children. If any christian harms their child they are no more a CHRISTIAN than you are!
Let the law handle these things!

First off, let me ask why you feel you have to apologize? Although you are "harsh" with some of your words, we are each entitled to our own opinion. You are no more harsh in your words towards Christians than many of them are at people who choose to believe something else. It is within the monotheistic faiths that we tend to see such intolerance and "ugliness" when people choose to not believe tin that particular religious doctrine.

Intolerance within the Christian Community, as well as "limitations" being placed on the capacity and abilities of the Divine is what made me start to question Christianity and the claim to the "end all be all" answer to my "salvation".

I am now a Pantheistic Pagan and have found more peace, hope and love within the folds of this belief structure than in any other I have taken the opportunity to study.

Tolerance, or lack their of is probably the biggest issue facing our world today. Intolerance of sexual preference, intolerance of personal ideals, intolerance of religious practice, intolerance of political beliefs, intolerance, intolerance, intolerance.

When one chooses to take something that was meant to be (in my opinion) a good idea, and turn it into a devout belief structure, you come up with the issues that face us today: hate, war, death and all the other inhumanities that are perpertrated against our fellow man on a daily basis.

I for one feel that if the Divine created me with a free will to begin with, then he/she/it is not going to punish me for using what was created within me in the first place!!!

Choose what you want to believe, and do not EVER again feel like you have to apologize for those beliefs. A person only becomes "wrong" if what they believe starts to cause harm to others, and their actions are the only thing that is wrong, not necessarily what they believe.

Bright Blessings )O(

My dear child, hate is sch a strong word. I do understand where you are coming from. But you must realize they are not all like that. Many are understanding of our ways and accept us for who we are and feel it is OK to be different. But then we have to deal with the close minded ones, ignorant and unwilling to try to find out just what we are really about. We can't change them, they will go to their grave hating us, cursing us and condemning us. It is not worth the effort to try to understand them or make them take off their blinders. But it should not be so consuming in your life! The only thing that will come of it is you will get headaches and ulcers! You must also remember that what is in the past is gone, some lessons were learned. But the past can't be undone. If it could, my people (Comanche) would still be free to roam the plains!
You need to mature a bit and let it roll off your shoulders, don't take what they say to heart, they count on that you know. Try to wear you down any way they can. Learn to ignore them, they won't change (unlike their Holy Book which has changed innumerable times).
Stop gritting your teeth!

Like all things, they are good and bad people in a religion. Super Christians are the ones who shove the Bible down your throat and instantly judge you by things (what you wear, what you look like, religion, etc). I am a Christian and in no way am I offended. I, personally, have experienced this. I have also noticed that the people shoving the Bible into your face are the ones who are hypocrites. My old school was like that, that's one of the reasons why i was so happy to leave. Everyone was so fake! .As you know, I'm not like that. I find wiccans to be very interesting. Your nature is very kind and gentle. But with the whole chruch thing, it's RETARDED! All they do is push people away from Jesus! Tolerance is a word I don't think they even know! And let's say you didn't come to Sunday church...they'd probably call you a witch and kill you. Lame excuse! They just didn't want to be called a witch themselves. Such a greedy group of people.

Well, In the Bible it is written that we should preach the gospel. And it is very up to u wheather to accept it or not. Ok? That is not something to make u hate Christians. And it is written in the Bible that Jesus is the only way to salvation. Again , it is up to u wheather to accept that or not.

Our ancestors were not forced to turn to Jesus. Actually , it is the first time i hear that.lol. I know much about the history of the church. U may mean during the war of the two roses in England , which was between Protestants and Catholics, and yes, some were forced to convert to one of those two denominations. But that is not about Christianity, that is denominational fantacism.

First time i also hear about burning witches. If a Christian once did that. That doesnt mean that this is a rule in Christianity. Christianity is found in the Bible , not in all the Christians.

I agree that the history of the church is full of dispersions, but wasn't as bad as u r saying.

Good luck!

It seems to me that you are getting Christians confused with humans beings. People believe, rightly or wrongly, that they can get away with huge crimes against humanity in the name of their "God". It is irrelevant whether it is under the guise of Christianity, Islam, Buddhism... or even Wicca or Paganism. Humans need to have a scape goat and Religion fits the bill rather neatly I think... there is never going to be proof of existence or non-existence...( that anyone will agree on anyway), so what better excuse than in the name of God? What I love is the amazing arrogance of it all, how dare we, tiny insignificant human beings, actually assume that some one or some thing greater than ourselves NEEDS us to do their work for them! I think they could probably manage on their own don't you?!

It's not the Christians, it's the humans.
