My relatives usually get gray hair in their late 30's to 40's, so I'm not sure if it's genetic. Will vitamins/supplements help? Any good treatments? (I don't want to use hair dyes) Thnx! ;)

I have naturally black hair, so white hair kinda stands out.

Hair grows white when the color pigment (melanin) ceases to be produced in the hair follicle and small air spaces take its place. Please check out http://useinfo-grayhair.blogspot.com/ for more info.

I know you are a woman so it makes it a bit difference but I had salt and pepper hair when I graduated high school. At first I was embarrassed but have been surprised at how many women love it. I am sure your hair is lovely so don't let society dicatate your norm. :)

It could be strees, or it could be somewhere way down the line of your relatives, you should check it out.
