Im not a Christian but I would say good Deeds because they can be seen and effect your fellow human kind in the here and now. Doing good things is never bad and you can get a lot more recognition for it than for faith, which is more a one on one experience with you and your god, where as good deeds are shared with many.

See you do not have to be Christian to answer it and also not be disrespectful just because I do not believe. I DO believe in faith though, but again it is more a one on one experience so i would say that deeds are more powerful in the here and now.

Well the "good deeds" talked about in the scriptures are the deeds God does through us. However, as Christians all we are called to do we do by faith. (Faith is a response to God). I'd have to say faith is important, very important but without action it is never materialized and therefore dead. I'd have to say good deeds (the God through us deeds).

Faith. because everything should follow after faith, if you have faith in God and believe in Him then wont that make you want to be a better person which leads to good deeds?

Good deeds come after faith, so faith in Christ is the more powerful - it brings everlasting life!

Jesus loves you!

like the first person said, both ARE important, but you must have faith in God, for those who do not believe will not have everlasting life. i know that may seem harsh, but if you get what he means, God wants to protect us like a parent tells a child to not draw on the walls, but if he draws on the walls, what happens? he gets punished. We have a lifetime to choose whether or not we want to be with God. It's your choice. Another example would be... after high school, you have a choice to be a a bad guy or a good guy. Do not blame God for your misfortune.

Both are important, but no one can do good enough work wise, thus we are saved by faith.

faith without works is dead. You need both. They are both equally powerful.

Salvation is only received by faith in what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross. He died for our sins. He was buried and took our sins away and He rose again the third day for our justification. Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
