It seems like there's a lotta women in the NASCAR section. It would seem like the majority would be non-adults, or "gender benders" I like it it because i'm a racer/technician. Why do women like NASCAR?

I'm a chick. Well into my adult hood, very much a girl.
My answer is two fold.
1) It was the only time my Daddy and I would spend together is when 'the race' was on.

2) I like power, speed and men who can handle both.

once you're relating Danica Patrick, she seems to be the two hated. I have not have been given something against the girl. No, she would not have lots of wins in IRL. yet she has additionally been intentionally wrecked on a number of events whilst she grew to become into doing properly. What i do no longer understand is why such lots of people seek for loss of a extra effective observe threatened by using the assumption of her coming to Nascar. i in my opinion do no longer think of she'd run properly there and that it would be completely a exposure stunt from Nascar's perspective. i'm no longer listening to too lots of anybody expressing the opinion that she might do properly. however the comments very nearly border on misogyny. She's extra effective off the place she is, and she or he would be in a position to be staying there. i might purely choose to appreciate why it bothers such lots of guys and girls folk that she's making those comments to get extra funds out of IRL. in the tip, nonetheless, i think of that the boys might a minimum of settle for her as eye candy.

By non adult female's do you mean as in teen's ? If so I thank you for the compliment ,but I'm pushing 47 . ;)

As for why I like Nascar .I have been a race fan ever since I went to my first race back in the late 70's at a local track in Indiana.Back then Nascar wasn't any where as popular as it is now . Now that I'm a Nascar fan I don't find local race's exciting any longer .I've been a fan of Nascar since 1993.

I find it to be intensely exciting and edge of the seat when it comes down to those final laps. I've been blessed to meet a lot of people of Nascar and have never had a bad experience with those I've met. They are good Christian people.I enjoy reading about the people of Nascar as well as watching them race .

I'm pretty up on their lingo ,my b/f took me to a race and he being a former racer in Ga started explaining to me why the tire's lean in on the cars and I said to him "Yes I know its called camber" The look on his face was priceless .

People who meet me or know me personally are surprised and some what shocked that I'm such a diehard Nascar fan ,as I'm rather quiet ,gentle , very slow to anger, don't drink ,smoke or use profanity ...I'm sure you get the idea that I just don't match the basic Nascar fan who is normally LOUD and ROWDY ! hahaha I will admit that I do cheer on my favorite's and get excited . I guess you could say that Nascar is my release .

I don't find any other type of sport's as exciting

Oh and I also follow pretty much all types of stock car race's(ARCA,ASA,Goody's,etc...), Indy car's and NHRA .I watch all 3 division;s of Nascar (Cup,Busch,Trucks ) and never miss a race . Watch all the Nascar related shows.

My favorite track is Talladega As you see below my first favorite was Davey Allison and I now pull for Carl whose driving style and personality reminds me a lot of Davey.

I tend to pull for the clean driver's as well as the under dog's.The only "tough guy" driver's that I pull for...Tony Stewart and Johnny Sauter I believe in choosing my own driver and not just because everyone else likes him or because he has numerous title's

I grew up in a racing family and spent my life in the racing industry. I know some of the technical people behind some Nascar teams.

I don't know what gender has to do with it. I am interested in the technical aspect and like to watch the races. I don't have a favorite driver since Dale Earnhardt died. I like the Chevrolet teams cause we always raced Chevrolets.

Why would gender make any difference? I love the raw power, the speed, the ultimate competition, the danger, the roar of the engines, etc. There is too much to list. Once you go to a race and feel the power in the air, in the ground, it gets in your blood! You'll be hooked for life...

I'm sure there are many reasons why Women like NASCAR. If there were to be a survey I'm sure the reasons would vary as much as for any sport. One thing that I notice is that as we evolve as Americans we have also made great strides in equality for women. Women are beginning to show a greater interest in allot of the activities and pastimes that men do. Reasons for that again vary, but one thing I have really heard allot from women are that they were skeptical of the sport till they went to one live. After feeling the power and excitement of a live racing event they have been hooked ever sense. Also make note that women are extremely loyal as fans and very proud to share it as well.

I love racing. Growing up, my stepdad and a friend of his were dragracers, my sister drove dirt track, and the TV was on for every NASCAR race. It's just something I grew up with...it's in my blood.

I love the thrill of hot guys driving fast cars, all going for the win. I like to see the cars flying around the track inches from each other. It's so exciting.
