Upgrading to windows xp! using ares?

I want to upgarade my windows xp home edition to professional,but i dont have the cd! i did a software search on ares , and found the windows xp upgrade software that i can download! is it possible that if i download it i could upgrade my computer??? or is it a virus???

If its from Microsoft and its an upgrade, they will ask you credit card info first. You should be ok if you have an anti-virus program.
