hit up the gym, use the abdominal machine, do pull ups, leg ups, do crunches, sit ups, start jogging, and in 4 weeks, you should see a very nice flat stomach, and maybe some definition of your abs if you want that.

This is quite a hard thing to do as I am sure you are aware, but I'm sure not impossible. You need to be positive first off as I believe, ones state of mind adds a lot the overall effect of any kind of weight shift or weght loss.

Look at the timmings of your meals for instance. Like I went through a phase where I use to have a nice flat belly, and my work patterns changed. I would come home late at night and have my dinner and head straight to bed. A while later I started to get the typical belly.

Perhaps if you eat dinner much earlier in the day, that will give you time to burn the calories. I am no expert but was researching on the Internet for you and came accross this article... http://www.articlebiz.com/article/79926-1-ayurvedic-secret-weight-loss-method-revealed

I'm not sure if it 100% workable, but I get the strong feeling that you need to put mind and matter (look at the food you eat and the timmings) to get this to work.

Let me know if it does any good, it might inspire me too, lol!

Take care

you cant actually spot reduce fat unfortunately... and you can start doing exercises, like sit ups, but all thats going to do is push out from the inside out... this is what the muscle will do (being stronger than fat)...

if you cut down on the calories will your tum not reduce in size? or will you lose weight from places you dont want to lose it from?

you'd be better doing some gentle toning exercises, general all over body work outs, like stationary biking, elliptical trainer, stepper, skipping, walking!

Sorry hun your gonna have to shed some lbs if you want a flatter tummy you can do core exercises and crunches all day long to improve it. But you cant lose weight in just one area.

Something I've tried that was suggested to me ....and works somewhat, is:
Face down on the floor. Up on toes and arms (from hands to elbows).
Stay there for as long as you can.
Over time, "as long as you can" will become longer.
You'll feel the stretch on your stomach.
Give it a year.
Don't let yourself be easily discouraged.
