When my daughter's father was in rehab one of the things that they told him That in order for him to make a full recovery he would have to change the people, place and things that he did when he was drinking. We would take our daughter on picnic's with others that he'd met in rehab who were also trying to stay way from drinking. If it was watching TV that was one of the things that he would do while drinking we wouldn't watch TV we would play games and we would go outside and he'd play ball with the neighborhood kids. If it was to cold or wet to go out he would help our daughter with homework, he cooked more meals and we spent more time making love both physically and emotionally. We did more things together and he wouldn't drink because I didn't drink. I love playing cards and word games so we would do that a lot. He got more involved with things around the house. Things that you aren't used to can be fun if you look at them from a different point of view. Find friends who don't drink go to AA there the people are trying to do the same things that you are. Stick with it, it might not be easy but it's so worth it in the long run. If my daughter's father had put his family first when he was in rehab he might have stopped drinking and have some contact with his beautiful fifteen year old daughter. He's missed the last seven years of her life and doesn't seem to care. One day he will need her and she might not be there for him and you can't really blame her. Don't look back on your life in ten years and regret that you didn't change earlier and that you've missed out on a large portion of your life and maybe your families lives.

go to the theatre, either as an audience member, or as amateur theatrical actor

Library has book reading clubs

Stamp Collecting

water sports (Alcohol there is as bad as drink driving)

Ballroom dancing

Clogging (dance form Appalachia)

dress making

Oh golly, the list goes on and on.; I have done some of those things.

Best thing for problem drinking is AA. that's right Alcoholics anonymous. There is no alcohol there. But lots of fun and good people to encourage and help you stay sober.

Seriously. been there, done that.

Keep trying to help people on YA. If you get "thirsty"...make yourself a "fun" non alcoholic drink.(maybe it will fool your brain)lol. Play miniature golf...go shopping at the local mall...go to church..get involved with church groups. Go where they don't even mention alcohol...you need to get the thought of it out of your head. (if this is about you?????) (same goes for somebody else) Good Luck . HAVE FUN !!!

Pin the shirt and denims jointly on the waist. Pin the zombie mask on the pinnacle of the shirt. Take into the out abode AFTER dark. Use the string to Tie the dummy to the ceiling in a status place up so he would be status there while somebody opens the door. must be sturdy for some laughs.
