I am at a top business program. The program is so screwed that women hooked up with guys to get through group projects and get good grades. Some sleep with teaching assistant or professors to get help on homework or hints on final exams to get good grades. I don't do this, so I don't get to work with the best teams and I don't get help on anythinng I do. I end up doing group projects on my own (of course I am at disadvantage as I have to handle 4 people's load as one person). I am better than a lot of people there, but I have to settle for lower grades. It is so unfair, I wonder if I should open up a little, so I won't have to live with bad grades for the rest of my life. It hurts to see women doing unethical things end up having good grades, bright future and go anywhere they want.

What should I do? Please don't give me moral preach.

Hmmm, doesn't sound like a "Top business program" to me, sounds pretty sleazy. No reputable school would tolerate that kind of behavior from professors or teaching assistants. If getting good grades from a questionable institution is more important to you than your self-respect, then go for it. By the way, this will not make you have to "live with bad grades for the rest of your life". After you finish school, if it is indeed a reputable school, your diploma will be all that counts, not the grades that got that diploma. You could always be a whistleblower, or just finish the program and move on with your life.

Holy crap does your school not have any policies and procedures on ethics or morals and values. Hopefully you in the long run will be far more successful then these other young females that are getting special tutoring. This is just getting me angry to believe that in this new millenium that prof's would take advantage of these young and vulnerable females for their own pleasure. In my opinion I would advice you to continue to do things as you have been doing. If you can warn the administration (although anonymously would be wise) of what is happening then perhaps there would be an investigation and you'd be playing on a more level playing field. Best of luck to you and please do keep your belief system in tack and I wish you a very prosperous and successful career after grad.

who cares what kind of grades you get, you know you are doing your best without having to risk your morals. In the real world these other girls will have to learn that you can't just sleep their way to the top, this is something that you have already figured out, so keep up the hard work it will pay off in the end for you.

Your grades don't matter once you've proven yourself in the working world. Don't worry as long as your grades are acceptable. They don't have to be straight A's to get a great job. Those that sleep around will have to continue sleeping around to have any future because they will not be able to do the work otherwise. Eventually they will get into a position where they are expected to do actual work and they won't be able to and they will be fired. I've seen it happen. Just be the best you can be and above all be confident in yourself and you will be able to get any job you want.

i think you should not do the crap that other girls do. it's a really slutty thing to do to sleep wiht a teacher for good grades, and stuff. isnt' there anybody else in the program that has the good morals that you do? isnt there anybody else there that knows that's wrong? well, whatever you do, just remember that you, unlike the other women at your program, have learned to work hard, and not take the easy way out of things.

Your situation seems typical to me, bad people succeed and make lots of money all the time. You seem to be a person with moral values.I say choose the course of action that will leave you with the fewest regrets in the years ahead.

You obviously have some self-respect, my advice would be to keep it.

They may get the grades now, but in the workplace they will be at a huge disadvantage.

My advice would be to write to your tutors who are involved in this practice unanymously and let them know what they are doing is known in the Faculty - then see it stop.

HI there, no moral preaching I promise. I suppose sometimes this sort of thing works...how much do u want to advance? Be careful and use protection if you go ahead with this. It's so easy to say this is the wrong thing to do and yet in this world sometimes you have to use what u have.

You need to report this practice to a supervisor or an executive. This is sexual harrassment and you could sue them for a big settlement.

Yes, if your a sluut. but if you're a smart business woman then maybe you can THINK your way to the top. If you can prove this is going on, and I do mean PROVE IT, then you'll have the university by the balls.
