Hi All,
Should I put my hair cream in the zip lock along with the liquids or I can put it in my carry on? Bear in mind, it is cream, not gel.

Thanks

I can almost guarantee you it's measured in mililiters or fluid ounces. Therefore, it's a liquid! Even if it's just measured in ounces, it's still a liquid/gel.

It isn't a solid. It isn't a gas. Therefore..... come on, say it with me now.... you can do it.... a liquid or a gel.

If the container it's in is over 3.4 ounces, put it in your checked bag.

You should be able to figure out that the liquid/gel/aerosol ban applies to more than just water, hair gel, and hair spray. It applies to liquids, gels, creams, lotions, pastes, gels, foams, etc.

Edit: You have to have all of your liquids/gels/aerosols in your carry-on in a QUART sized bag, not a gallon sized bag. This is to limit the quantity.

Creams are counted as liquid, so in your zip lock bag.
(And if in doubt, just put it in, no harm in having non liquids in, but a lot of hassle if there is liquids in the main bag.)

anything that you are carrying on a plane that is any type of liquid or cream has to be in a gallon sized zip lock baggie and cannot be more than 3 oz. If it goes into your checked luggage it can be any size.

If you can spread smear rub spray ETC its a liquid/gel item from TSA's standards. It has to be EXACTLY OR LESS THAN 3 OUNCES(300 mL i think)
