i know the answer but want to see other peoples reasoning, so please give details as to why you think your choice came first from chicken or egg.

thy type of egg isnt specified theirfor it could be a different animals egg such as a crocodile who are far older as a species than chickens.

its a deceptive questian as it gives egnuff information for a paradox to be formed but not egnuff for the paradox not to be broken

Whatever eveolved into a chicken would have laid eggs, and over time each generation would be more chickenlike, untill there was a parent that was really close to being classed as a chicken, that laid an egg containing something that COULD be classed as a chicken. So the egg came first (I know its more complicated that this, but im not going to write an essay).
Also, if you think about it, the type of egg isn't specified, so creatures would have laid eggs before the chicken even existed, so the egg would still have come first.
edit: Im finding the number of thumbs down were all giving the Christians kind of funny. Lets keep it up!.

Which Came First - The Chicken or the Egg?
A chicken and an egg are lying in bed.
The chicken is smoking a cigarette with a satisfied smile on its face.
The egg is frowning and looks a bit fed up.

How could we know? It is impossible. Anyone could say either the egg was created and from it a chicken sprung or the chicken was created and put an egg. Frankly, I don't know. You say you know the answer. Please do tell us.

I think the egg came first from some other creature, and due to a genetic problem out popped a chicken and they've been here ever since!

If you believe creation...then the chicken came first. If you believe evolution...then neither. Evolution is a slow process that changes with each generation, so each generation will be a little different then the next.
