2. Even if it did, having four-fathers (hee hee, pun intended) would not necessarily have any effect.

You cannot predict in that scenario how many children each person will have, who will die young, what wars will come, what diseases will kill off the population, etc.

Probably not. We still find a way of killing off the extra inhabitants. A few more wars and a lot more abortions would take care of the excess. Jesus, come back soon!
