Would you say that Hollywood has no respect for morals and human life? Every other tv channel, movie, magazine and book has something about murder. They glorify it as much as sex.

Do they not have any morals?

Because Christianity is the only religion I know that doesn't glorify murder.

Many of todays problems are because of our un-Godly behavior and thoughts. We have moved away from family values, the family order. We rely on TV as entertainment while we work for more of the almighty dollar. Hollywood has no morals what-so-ever. Look at the shows with premarital sex, murder, half dressed ladies. Our children are being raised to think more of themselves than of others. They are in a constant state of want, instead of being joyful in having what is needed. If we stopped to look around, take a breath, stop paying attention to the news of celebrity, stop going to the movies and paying to have our souls torn apart, shut of the TV, and spend time with God, think of the change.....

Can anyone expect the unsaved world to behave like Christians? No. Our job is not to conform behavior, it is to "go into all the world preaching the Gospel". We are not to preach a lifestyle. As Christians, we are not to engage in certain acts which are sin, nor take part at any level. The world, however, is not under God's rule - their actions have no bearing on their eternal destiny - their acceptance or rejection of Christ determines that.

We are not to preach conformity, but I agree with people who stand for the unborn, protection of marriage, parents, elderly, children and even support abstinence teaching - these are things which affect society and are not "they aren't hurting anyone else" activities, because such things can and do hurt others.

I don't think you see things correctly. Murder isn't generally glorified. The murderers are usually the villains, and the point of the program is to bring them to justice.

On the other hand, what is the problem with enjoying sex? Is sex bad? I can understand what is wrong with murder; it deprives one of their life. What is the inherent problem with enjoying sex? What, objecively, is wrong with pornography? What, objectively is wrong with prostitution? I'm not talking about the spread of disease which results from it being forced underground. I'm not talking about it being illegal (it is only so when people, not god, decide it should be so).

I think that it is a good thing. It gives us the chance to see scenarios where our morals, and our interpretations of life may differ from the "reality" of the fictionalized example, and give us a chance to either question are morals as rock-solid, and universal, or to reaffirm them by the examples given. The news has a lot of murder on it to...just because I show illustrates that reality doesn't mean they condone it..

True. Many who make filthiest movies on sex and violence to make money certainly do not believe on morales. They are very rich and get laws passed by lobbying so their movies don't get censored in the name of freedom of expression.

Freedom of expression is highly misused concept. Forefathers of USA didn't mean this kind of freedom. They meant that every citizen must have freedom to criticize mistakes of government officials' without any reprisal. Because freedom of expression is check on bad government. It makes citizens bold and encourages patriotism

Where Kings rule with absolute authority and no permission to be criticized by any subject encourages cowardness and flatery to get ahead in careers.
In such countries people say what will please people in power to get special benefits. They prefer not to say what is for the best interest of country.

They are trying to make money, they use whatever means possible to do this.

Violence and sexual content appeal to people.

Why do you think they put a flawless person on a magazine cover instead of somebody regular, who hasn't been airbrushed.

Many video games that children play are filled with unnecessary violence, at a young age this can alter their perception between good and evil.

How do you know that god exists, much less the morals that the god has, and further that christians exhibit those morals? How do you know morals even exist?

I think the media can be trashy, but that's because they give people what they want. It's not about "morals", it's about money.

The decline and fall of civilization is not possible without internal rot of the female members.

Thus, we see Holywood wear out the morals and spirituality of girls and women.

If you think it's bad now, wait till you see the Summer of 2009.
That will be the final season before the fall of America.

They worship the God of Moses, and they have the mark of the beast.
The is the uncontrolable desire for more, all they think about is money and riches. They will cheat, steal, defraud, and sell the souls to Satan for more.

And now we export this "mark" to the four corners of the earth.
