A Cavalier is full grown at 8 months. Cavaliers are slow at maturing and can take up to 3 years for their hair to grow in completely. Generally at about the age of 6 months their puppy hair will fall out and will appear to be shaved but will grow back at the time they reach a year old.

Should reach pretty much full size at about 8 months, but will continue to 'fill out', and lose that gangly look, until about a year. Don't fall for those big eyes though - the waistline will continue to grow forever, given a chance!
