No, because BOTH Christian and Islamist extremists have no compunction about bombings, arson and other crimes against people who may not OPPOSE their religious views.
Otherwise, why would we have had the Olympic Centennial Park bombing against a CROWD OF PEOPLE CELEBRATING PEACE? This was done by a CHRISTIAN terrorist.... NOT a Islamist one

Religious extremists of any faith are something that the normal people who represent the same faith need to "work" with. These extremists send a bad message out to the world that effects their mainstream cousins and make people think that all people of these religions are all fanatics. Christians, Muslims, Pagans... need to take a stand against these extremists and say that any religion taught at gun-point isn't a religion. They state that their Gods are judges and jury for those who do wrong, so let those Gods do what these people preach! The warriors for the Gods need to ask themselves why would a religion need warriors if their religion preaches peace, love and understanding. Whether a terrorist bomber for Allah or an abortion clinic bomber for the Christian God, these people are wrong, they need to embrace compassion and try to work on their own area's problems.
It is sad to think that in the 21st Century that certain religions haven't grown past the need to teach religion at sword-point!

An extremist, by definition, takes something too far. An extremist of any variety can be dangerous. Someone that might be considered a "Christian extremist" would be someone who believes that God has given them the right to bomb an abortion clinic. This is unscriptural, illegal, and against what God has set forth. It's just plain wrong.
However, Christians who feel passionately about their beliefs and base their lives on scripture aren't extremists - they're Christians. Please don't get the two mixed up :-)

No, any extremists are dangerous and unmercifull.
However, right now in the news it does seem that the muslims are taking the lime light as far as killing each other goes. They could survive and do well if they just quit hating each other but they seem content to make their lives and the lives of their children miserable because they choose to hate.
They even hate those who give their lives to help them.
That seems to be their only emotion is hate and cruelty.

All extremists are equally crazed.
It is important to remember that the muslim extremists you are most likely referring to are attacking for political reasons.

The most accurate description of Timothy McVeigh would be a radical right, Christian extremist. He took marching orders from Rush Limbaugh, and decided it was OK to murder women, children and other patriots protecting the safety and freedom of Americans because he was lied to and told the FBI and the Federal Government are the enemy and need to be eliminated.

All three are the same. When they act in an extremist manner they are causing a negative impact onto society as well as making themselves look bad.

what's the use of being "extreme".
people cannot be forced to take a "religion". it's better to show people the way to make them understand that there is a difference. lead by example. it's what i'm trying to do. christians should be known by their love. muslim & islam seems to show their power through violence & death & hate. christians don't have any power. the only power we can claim is the power of the blood of Christ who died for our sins.
blessings.

Would you rahter people who blow up or scream around, but live to be 90 years old.
(I ended the phrase above with a dot because its a rhetorical question. Since I don't actually expect an answer, I don't put a question mark.)

Religious fanatics of ANY kind are a menace to the safety of mankind.
But, it seems like islam is BASED upon extreme violence, hatred and intolerance. This is my personal belief based upon the HISTORY of islam...especially over the past decade.
So, to clearly answer, I believe that islamic extremists/terrorists are MUCH WORSE than Christian extremists.
(wondering how long your question will survive)
