I am a christian and I only copy and paste scripture (small amounts) if someone is asking a specific question about scripture. Other than that, it annoys me no end when there is a pasted "book" of scripture for an answer. People want to hear what YOU OR I have to say in our own words. Especially when it comes to atheists. They don't believe in the bible anyway, so it is just a huge waste of time and space. and yes, it is extremely annoying.

Using a Sermon to explain a point I think can be annoying, but if you want a person or person's to listen to a specific Sermon leave a web site for them to come in contact with.

Yes, it is incredibly annoying. If you feel that there is a website that would answer a question perfectly, then rather copying and pasting the entire thing, just post the link with a brief explanation. I think some people feel that the more wordy they are the better the answer.

I would rather hear a person's own views and ideas. But it's possible to feel something without being able to express it, or to believe something without being able to explain it, and you might find a piece already written that says it better than you could yourself.
As for -long- answers, well I am often guilty of that myself. I never learned the art of brevity. I'm sure just the length of my answers turns people off sometimes, they don't even start to read them. But, well, what can I say? Some questions are just more complicated than can be addressed in two sentences.

Yes. I find that extremely annoying and I usually believe what the person is saying, so I can imagine that the people who he is trying to convince are less than thrilled with it and probably never read his post.

Very annoying. I just submitted an answer to a question in which a person did just that. When I gave them thumbs down, half the page disappeared and there was so much room it was magnificent.

#413 ARGUMENT FROM LENGTH
(1) Here is a 200 page document, all in one giant paragraph, that proves God's existence.
(2) You didn't refute the third argument on page 167.
(3) Therefore, God exists.

This is true, it shows that they don't have any real knowledge of their own. They only know where to go to find the answer. I believe in learning and seek it by studying, praying, reading the sciptures and meditate on the meanings.
