I grow dark brown hair on my body, including my beard. However, my beard always has a couple of hairs that are light brown in color and are usually thicker than the regular hair... I was wondering if any1 knew why this is happening?

Most people have different textures on their body hair. For instance some people have regular 'round' hair on their heads and every once in a while you will find some 'flat' ones.....really 'flat' ones! I think it may have something to do with the 'bulbs' (the very bottom of a hair) sort of like a sun flower seed put in the ground to grow ....some grow tall and some not so tall, some brighter yellow and some not so bright, some stems are thick and others they are so thin they can not hold up the flower and break off. Also depending on your age, when I see that on a client I believe these lighter hairs are those loosing pigment and are going to be the ones that will soon come in gray.
