We should follow the laws of the New Testament. We should never judge but remove ourselves from those that are sinners. if they do not want to live a Christian life we are to try to be an example not a Judge to them.Love them anyway.. If Christians Judge others they are not Christian but in name only.We are to love all.

Christians can do the same they just choose not to. Also, that is a bad generalization. There are so many different types of Christians, you can't say all of them think they are above Jesus. Not all of them say they are Christ-like. Not all of them strike out homosexuals. Christ could forgive his betrayer, but so can anyone. Don't say that everything wrong with the world is Christians; Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, atheists, etc. all do things they're not supposed to.

As a Christian, I side with you, 100 % plus ! When people strike out at the behavior or sins of others through a smug and holier-than-thou attitude, he or she is demonstrating exactly, what Jesus Christ was against ! For Christians the order of the day is this. "It is NOT what others are not ... but what YOU are " !!! Religious "fundies" what to attempt to "save" America (Canada too) by returning back to the good ol' days when America was great (which ever, days those were.) There has never been a time in the history of /either, of our Countries - when we had a year free of murders, prostitution nor something going on. Go back to the "good ol' days" of the 30s - Al Capone - murder, 1800s - it was Coca-Cola made from cocaine leaves , for example. Christians need to get with the REAL program of expressng the love and grace of God to others. BE seen and not heard (unless asked) !!! It is not about acceptance by "Christians" but GOD !!! - God is in the SAVING business and loves ALL humans - unconditionally !!!
P.S. "anthro" you have a GREAT point there - Jesus would "second" the motion !!!

Because humans are not perfect. Jesus was perfect and had no hate in Him. As a Christian, I just preach that the Bible is very clearly against homosexuality. That is my duty as a Christian. I don't hate them. I have good friends that are gay. But we have a different belief system that way.
Ever hear the old saying, "Hate the sin, love the sinner"? That is how I operate.
One other thing, Jesus asked us to follow Him, not other Christians. Quit worrying about how Christians act so much and just keep looking up towards Him.

Christians cannot be Christ like ever. The last time I read and looked at the bible, Christ was not riding against tribes and raping, pillaging, murdering, and enslaving others like the so called Christians did to the Native Americans.
Even today, I see Baptist religions that scream forth hatred of those that do not follow their beliefs. They do it to gays a lot.

Jesus certainly loved everyone, but to put it bluntly we should not pusifly Him. He spoke out strongly against the Pharasies. Christians need to love even their enemies, as Jesus taught, yet they have to hate their actions. It sounds somewhat paradoxial but that is the fine line Christians must walk. Many have fallen off that line to either side. Some such as those you mention, hate the sinner and the sin itself. On the other side you have those who for fear of being unloving refuse to condemn the sin. Both extremes are to be avoided.

MOST.... homosexuals... and ... PEOPLE... that Support THEIR PERVERTED... LIFESTYLE..... always.... Slam... Christians... and the Bible !
They.... CHOOOSE.... " NOT "... TO HEAR ... WHAT.... 'GOD' SAID..... about The Subject !
Here it is.... Now GO ON AND JUSTIFY.... Their Lifestyle ?
(Romans 1:21-to-32) Because, knowing God, they did not glorify Him as God, neither were thankful. But they became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
(Rom 1:22) Professing to be wise, they became fools
(Rom 1:23) and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things.
(Rom 1:24) Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves.
(Rom 1:25) For they changed the truth of God into a lie, and they worshiped and served the created thing more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
(Rom 1:26) For this cause, God gave them up to dishonorable affections. For even their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature.
(Rom 1:27) And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another; males with males working out shamefulness, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was fitting for their error.
(Rom 1:28) And even as they did not think fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do the things not right,
(Rom 1:29) being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; being full of envy, murder, quarrels, deceit, evil habits, becoming whisperers,
(Rom 1:30) backbiters, haters of God, insolent, proud, braggarts, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
(Rom 1:31) undiscerning, perfidious, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful;
(Rom 1:32) who, knowing the righteous order of God, that those practicing such things are worthy of death, not only do them, but have pleasure in those practicing them.
This is from....ME.... A LOVING... CHRISTIAN...! I will call Sin... JUST AS GOD DOES..!
Thanks, RR

Hey, I havenever said a word against homosexuals. I do my best to love everyone, as Christ taught us to do.
I will admit that it is hard for me to love the people here who hate me just because I am a Christian....when I have done nothing to provoke that hate. Perhaps that is how homosexuals feel. They have not done anything and do not deserve anything but respect and acceptance.

John 1:1 says that Jesus IS God and that He created everything. He loved us so much that He emptied himself of the Godhead, became a little lower than the angels and suffered and died so that we could be with Him. Christians should love homosexuals enough to warn them that what they are doing will bring eternal death. If I saw my daughter doing something dangerous, I would warn her because I love her. Jesus loves homosexuals enough to suffer and die for them, same as He did for the rest of us sinners. Romans 3:22-23 says: This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to ALL who believe. There is NO difference, for ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement,[i] through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

If Judas had come to Jesus at the cross and looked up at him and asked him to forgive him he would have.
But, Judas remained in his sin because he decided to end his life by his own will, to continue in his rebellion.
When his life was ended his chance to receive forgiveness was past.
