hiya firefly! How ya doin?
well, firstly, Christians don't say that God created sin, according to them, we devised sin from our weaknesses( well Eve's weakness) and they are right, but they just got the concept wrong!
The term 'Evil' has become synonymous with the 'Devil' and his use of our human weakness to exploit our free will, to carry out HIS will, but! the devil does not exist, so instead of blaming every sin on Lucifer, we have to face the fact that evil is a term synonymous with MAN!
How can we explain evil in Children, I think this is really what you are getting at. The fact is, that people can be born evil, evil as a term for disfunctional, without conscience and empathy for their actions against others. it is a proven fact that most 'Evil' murderers, have a dis-functional frontal lobe, it denies them, rational thought, conscience and of their wrong doing, this is inherent in most psychotic killers and these traits can be picked up at an early age, we just need to see the signs ( has anyone seen Dexter on the sci-fi channel)
the other causes of Evil in children, stems from their up-bringing, maybe they have suffered a catastrophic event in their lives that started them on the path to despair and becoming a social outcast. this I would perceive as the, most , likely candidate for Evil. We live in a world dominated by, capitalism, sex and greed, etc etc, these things together, make an imperfect society, one that makes good for the the top of the social chain, and one that destroys the soul of the lower chain. Those from the lower chain are living in hope of becoming the top chain, this breeds friction! this breeds dispair and when dispair is added, all cognative rational thought goes out the window. When Humans feel dispair, we tend to livea fantasy of what we want our lives to be, thus drugs and prescriptions are added to the mix, then through drugs and dispair, criminality comes into the mix, then in alot of cases, children become part of the mix. This is when it gets difficult, because conterary to belief, we are not all born equal, we are born into( and I hate to say it) a class system, you see these children are born into despair, they have no choice, they live the life of the parent, usually they end up in broken homes, where one of the parents is absent, this is then thrown into the mix. Children are like computers, they are what we programme them to be, thus coming from a family in dispair and drugs, programmes the child with the wrong data!this inturn means the child becomes disfunctional! Unfortunately they usually turn to others groups to find family, these groups being, gangs and criminals, that give them a sense of security, this leads to crime and then on to other things, including Murder!!! In Britain today we are seeing children killing children everyday, how many children have died , because they have been forgotten by society, they are a symptom of the system, they are a symptom of their upbringing and their circumstances, this is why a God could not exist, for it opens the question; how/why does he choose people to be born into dispair? If God exist, why was I born into my family, but the kid down the road was born into drugs and criminality?
I have just described a small minority of human beings, thankfully with outside help and with the education system, kids from disfunctional homes where drugs and criminal activity are the norm', get some sort of moral balance, and yes! the church system in some cases works for them aswell, for atleast it teaches right from wrong.
So the facts of Evil are born out of many things and many circumstances, I have tried to be as wide in scope as possible to make you see my point, but what I have said is the basic circumstances for someone being classed as criminally evil.
other evil, the one where possesion and demons are concerned are just stories and are not to be taken seriously,
remember though, Evil has different classification within different peoples minds, for someone could say one person was evil, while I might just see a troubled mind crying out for help!

The honest truth? Man knows he came from his parents. Man knows he had a beginning but don't believe the Bible answer while others do believe in God that created him and the universe. If another being around more powerful than the God of the Bible where is the proof that he is more powerful than God? Can't he destroy what the current God did? Or what if there is no other being greater than the God of the Bible that the Bible claims? And that the Bible speaks the truth. God always was and there is no other like him at all. Be well also.

The Bible reveals that human beings were made in the image and likeness of God. This is why we have the ability to love, to reason and to feel and express complex emotions.
God also gave us something else. Along with reasoning—and the capacity to look at facts and come to conclusions—comes the power to choose. We make hundreds of reasoned choices each day. We decide what to wear and pick what we'll have for lunch. We determine which projects get priority. We also choose which thoughts we'll consider and which ones we'll discard, how we'll deal with our emotions and what actions we'll take in treating others.
In this way human beings have the capacity to choose between good and evil. We can choose to control our anger or we can choose to burn down our neighbor's house in revenge. The issue of choice is a complex human activity, but freedom of choice explains why human beings can be both good and evil. The fact is that we can and have the ability to change the 'path' we are on.
The world of violence, poverty, alcoholism, drug abuse, drive-by shootings and broken marriages isn't the world God created for us. We've done this to ourselves. It will never get better until each of us is willing to recognize the evil of our own selfishness.

Either God created us all, or there is no God. No "if" involved. Or did You have someone else in mind who created "bad" people?
You may be onto something. . . .
The situation begins as we each grow into the idea of good and bad through experience, which varies for each of us, and then comes the age of accountability and the choice of which direction to go on "the path." I don't choose for anyone but me. You don't have to judge the actions or characters of others. In fact, it is quite pleasant to let oneself off the hook that way.

First God CREATED from nothing.
Genesis: 1:1 In the beginning God CREATED the heaven and the earth.
Genesis 1:27 So God CREATED man in his own image (phantom/spirit), in the image, (phantom/spirit) of God CREATED he him; male and female CREATED he them.
Second God formed from the dust of the earth.
Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God FORMED man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life: and man became a living soul.
Genesis 2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had FORMED.
God CREATED first then he blew that creation (phantom/spirit) into that which he FORMED.
Genesis 1:
2: & the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. & the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. (Darkness was there, didn’t say he made it)
3: & God said, let there be light: & there was light.
4: & God saw the light, that it was good: & God divided the light from the darkness. (Why did God call the light good and not the darkness?)
5: & God called the light Day, & the darkness he called Night. & the evening & the morning were the first day.
16: & God made 2 great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. (Now what, thought he just did the light thing, or is this another light and dark?)
17: & God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18: & to rule over the day & over the night, & to divide the light from the darkness: & God saw that it was good. (He saw that both were good here.)
19: & the evening & the morning were the fourth day.
Romans 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the BEGINNING, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
God made all things. He created the eyes with which you can only physically see with and He created the eyes with which we can only see HIS Word with.
There are those who are blind to this physical world and those who are blind to God's Word.
Ephesians 1:11, says it is God that works ALL things after the counsel of HIS own will.
Romans 9:20-23, says, "Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter POWER over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make HIS POWER KNOWN, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of HIS GLORY on the vessels of mercy, which he had AFORE PREPARED unto glory, EVEN US, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles". "EVEN US" lets us know that He is the same today, as He was yesterday.

In John Donne's "Song", he gives a list of impossible feats, including catching a falling star and "Tell me... who cleft the devil's foot..." In other words, who made Satan evil? (Our evil is often said to refer back to his, but God is said to have created him as well of course.)
Call it a mystery. Chalk it up to the Bible offering a picture whose main use is to guide our conduct, not to provide a complete explanation of the universe. Or just say, "Well, Christianity makes no sense."
But don't expect an answer that will satisfy you.

In the Vedic scriptures[ancient spiritual knowledge of India] declare that the living entity(us) are eternal and imperishable, he has no beginning and no end, nor does he take birth or die. The living being is equal in quality to the Supreme Lord and exist eternally with God. The living entity is eternal, and he existed before the creation of this material world. Unfortunately he has forgotten his relationship with Krishna, God.
Both are spiritual personalities(God and the living entity). But because the living entity is so small, he is prone to be illusioned by the material energy, and thus
God creates bodies for us according to our different desires and activities.
“It is the living entity’s constitutional position to be an eternal servant of Krishna, God.
Forgetting Krishna, the living entity has been attracted by the external energy from time immemorial. Therefore the illusory energy [maya] gives him all kinds of misery in his material existence.
When the living entity forgets his constitutional position as an eternal servant of Krishna, he is immediately entrapped by the illusory energy and is send to this material world.
One should understand that due to his desire to enjoy himself in competition with Krishna, the living entity comes into material existence and become evil since the beginning. Therefore even in childhood we manifest evil tendencies due to our evil activities performed in previous lives.

The Bible teaches that when our first parents sinned that they lost their relationship with God and their nature was corrupted. As a result every descendant of Adam and Eve is born with an inborn tendency towards sin and rebellion against God. This is called original sin. People are not judged for their nature, but for their deeds. However the Bible has declared all to be sinners and in need of salvation.
Jesus said a person must be born again before they can see or enter the Kingdom of God (John 3:3-7). When one is born again by the Holy Spirit through putting their faith in Christ and the sacrifice of Himself on the cross for our sins, he receives a new nature like the nature of Jesus that is inclined to obey God. Only by the power of the Holy Spirit can the sin nature be removed from the heart of sinners, changing them from rebels against God to true worshipers of God.
I know. That is what happened to me.

We are all born with an equal soul. What we do with our lives and the trials of it is our choice not Gods. He Has told us this in The New Testament. You cannot blame evil unless you choose to follow it and accept it. We all have our own crosses to bear and life can be unfair but we were not promised a perfect life. How one deals with the trials of life is with the choices they along have made and can only blame themselves for how they feel..

We are human beings made from dirt. We are a reflection of God. We do not carry in us His physical properties or even His nature. Like the image in a mirror. Or the image in a picture. Or the image in a pool of water. The image is not the nature, it just merely looks like. God wrapped our spirit in flesh. Don't you kind of like the way you are made? I mean the awesomeness of being created the way we are. Kind David said "I am fearfully and wonderfully made."
