My Daughter has chosen to have her career as a Personal Assistant and has her heart set on this, and to hopefully work with a Celebrity eventually. I know it is her choice and there is nothing I can do. I just want to know if this career is worth persuing?

As someone has already said, this isn't a job you really train for,but you can make sure you have the skills required.
You'd need to be efficiant, timely, have computer and typing skills,be organized, and basically not mind waiting on someone (especially a celeb) hand and foot.
Most celeb PA's have to get food ready etc too.
You and/or your daughter can read more about the job and what you need to do,on this web site :

Well hopefully she will grow up soon and join reality. A career worth pursuing? Not even a career more of a daydream of being with the rich and famous. Have her go to school and get an education and be her own woman, not a slave to someone else.

I would put a Personal Assistant job in the category of jobs you "fall into", not one that you train for. I don't know where you would get schooling for such a position. It's seems to be more a who you know vs. what you know.

If this is what she wants to do then butt out. She will find out for herself in time whether it is worth it or not. If it turns out to be a mistake then oh well, you live and learn and move on. She will never know until she tries.

All she has to do is annoy her employer once and she'll have a cell phone whipped at her head and be fired.

I hope she reconsiders.
