The "way" of atheism doesn't require faith. It requires only logic. When logic tells you that there cannot be an omnipotent being in the universe, there is simply no reason to believe otherwise.
Living a life with logic but without faith is perfectly possible. Living a life with faith but without logic will get you thrown in the loony bin. Or killed.

Either way Atheists or Christians seem to want to make the world either or and I think it is our own personal decision and it shouldn't be forced on people as if it is going to make a difference in the end, because neither can prove one way or the other which one is the truth, it's been battled over for centuries and it's still one of the most controversial issue's in this world. If we were meant to know the truth, I am sure we would know it and all would be calm in the religious world, or maybe there wouldn't be religion at all, who knows. I personally feel more pressured by Christians than I do Atheists, I feel like Christians try to candy coat their religion to make it seem so fantasic, like it's the only way of life, but I have lived long enough to know, you don't have to be religious to have a great and blessed life.

I am an atheist. I claim to have no religion because I don't have any religion.
I am not offering anyone a religion. I do not offer any gods for anyone to worship or follow.
I ask people to think for themselves, to consider the evidence for all things. I do not require you to have faith in this way. You can accept this or not accept this. You will not go to hell for refusing this. You do not need faith to do this. Faith is the belief without evidence. I am asking you to have no faith, and look at the evidence.
Nice try to play with semantics, but atheism is a disbelief, a non-faith. No matter how you try to frame it, it cannot be viewed as a faith.

Call atheisim a religion all you want but it doesn't make it so. Theism requires a belief in a god or diety by definition. Atheism means without religion by definition. Faith has nothing to do with atheism. Actually I prefer the term Humanism to atheism. It says more about what I am than what I am not. Humanism is a philosophy of life inspired by humanity and guided by reason. It provides the basis for a fulfilling and ethical life without religion.
Humanists make sense of the world using reason, experience and shared human values.
Humanists see no convincing evidence for gods, the supernatural, or life after death.
Humanists believe that moral values are properly founded on human empathy and scientific understanding.
Humanists believe we must live this life on the basis that it is the only life we'll have -- that, therefore, we must make the most of it for ourselves, each other, and our world.
Humanist philosophies have arisen separately in many different cultures over many thousands of years. Whether or not they use the term humanism, tens of millions of Americans and hundreds of millions of people around the world agree with the humanist philosophy of living a happy and productive life based on reason and compassion.

If you want to get semantic about it, atheism is a religion, a religion of non-belief. Atheists believe that your life is what you make of it, right here and right now. Atheists have morals and values, most of which are the same as religious people but based on common sense and courtesy for fellow man, not for fear of damnation.
I do not believe in any religion, I think they are all money making schemes. I am also NOT an atheist, because I don't believe that God doesn't exist. I also don't believe God does exist. I simply do not know.
Organized religions are based upon the primal fears of humanity; if you do what we say you will be eternally rewarded and if you don't you will be eternally condemned. Pleasure and fear, the guiding forces of human behavior.
For atheists, it's just all too convenient .... believe what I tell you, do what we tell you, and give us money. We offer no proof that what we say is true other than a book written by men that has been re-written, re-interpreted, and re-translated for thousands of years, filled with contradictions. Oh, and you will burn in hell for eternity if you don't comply (I have no proof of that either but trust me on this, I know). And if you act now, I'll throw in eternal bliss (again, can't prove it, I just know).

The only way I offer is when someone wants to know how to get to Wal Marts, or the beach .
Atheists need no faith in the make-believe. Belief in ourselves and the wonders of nature are enough .

I don't offer anything to anyone regarding "a way". I have my way, that's it.
I have no religion, and I don't seek followers or folks to travel my road, although I'm happy to travel with those who are already going my way.
Let it go.

I offer no way. I have no religion. Religious people have a hard time conceiving of that fact, so they imagine that there is a religion called "atheism".
I guess we should all get together every Sunday morning for an hour and deny God.
I'm just living my own life; it's the religious that want to tell other people how to live theirs.

No, not really. We don't "offer" anything as an organized whole. We just don't believe in God. That's it. God is someone else's story, someone else's beliefs. We don't believe their story. No more "faith" required than it requires "faith" on your part to not believe that there are invisible turtles living in your bathroom.
And the reason our answers to this type of question sometimes are "angry" or "belligerent" sounding, is because it sounds very arrogant to us for people to say that it takes "faith" on OUR part to not believe THEIR stories of magical, invisible, supernatural beings, when they can't even provide a single scrap of evidence whatsoever for their existence.

I can offer you lots of way, lots of paths, upon which to lead your life, but none of them have to do with religion.
Unless you consider working in the corporate world for high pay vs finding work you love for lower pay but peace of mind to be religious.
I don't.
Religion or lack thereof is just another way to live your life.
EVERYTHING requires faith - without faith in yourself, you do not succeed at what you set out to do. Simple as that - and no religion there either.
