It is probably a vaginal cyst, especially if it is painless.

STD's usually don't cause hard lumps.

There are different kinds of glands around the vagina that can get blocked, and cysts form. The most common is the Bartholin's gland cysts. They are nothing to worry about.

I am giving you a link that even has a picture of a Bartholin's gland cyst, as well as an explanation.

You should still have your gyn look at it, in case it is something else.

I have never heard of an STD in which a bump was present on the vajay jay. Sounds more like an ingrown hair to me. I would still be inclined to have a doc look at it. Oh and use protection so you dont have to stress over things like this!!!!!!!!!!

If you had unprotected sex before, it could be an STD. If not, you still should go to a doctor because it could be something else. Point is: there shouldn't be any type of "bumps" on your genitals.

Ignorance breeds fear-as long as you avoid finding out what it is you will live in dread. See a doc, learn the facts, deal with it.
